Eleventh, the chapter on the correct practice of difficult deeds that ripen sentient beings by taking food. Then, the Bodhisattva Peaceful Intelligence said this to the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani: "Lord of Secrets, concerning the Bodhisattva's difficult practices, going to the Bodhi tree, subduing the Maras, turning the wheel of Dharma, and displaying the array, what wondrous causes have arisen there, and where have you directly witnessed them? Please declare them." The Lord of Secrets said: "Peaceful Intelligence, the arising of the Bodhisattva's qualities and array is immeasurable, and even if the measure of life were to remain for kalpas, it would not be easy to extensively explain and show them. However, I shall speak a little. Peaceful Intelligence, the Bodhisattva's difficult practices are not of one kind, for the Bodhisattva practiced them in order to defeat the heretics. The austerities, and the many torments to the body, by which the arrogance of those heretics is surpassed, or the most excellent deeds, and the Brahmacharya, and the austerities, all those that they cannot fully show by their deeds, all those the Bodhisattva has fully shown. Peaceful Intelligence, some see the Bodhisattva standing on one foot. Some see him standing with his hands raised. Some see him standing gazing at the sun. Some see him tormented by the five heats. Some see him squatting and striving to abandon. Some see him standing motionless. Some see him standing with his feet raised upwards. Some see him lying face down. Some see him lying on thorns. Some see him lying in cow dung. Some see him sitting cross-legged on a stone slab. Some see him leaning against a wall, some see him leaning against a wooden board, some

For a full six years, without disturbing any one behavior, all were completely shown. The conduct was extremely excellent, the diligence was extremely diligent, the asceticism was extremely firm, and for six years all conduct and asceticism were shown, but those who did not believe in other sentient beings would not see other conduct and asceticism. Otherwise, with what kind of conduct and what kind of asceticism would those sentient beings be tamed? Only seeing such conduct and asceticism. Peaceful intelligence, the Bodhisattva is a completely impartial renunciate to all, and also universally shows those actions. Through this asceticism, sixty-four kotis of gods and humans were fully matured in the three vehicles.

Those dwell in the precious tiered mansion of the Bodhisattva, contemplating the meditation that pervades the sky. They see the Bodhisattva unmoving, experiencing bliss, and rising from that samadhi after six years. For that Peaceful Wisdom, whatever needs to be matured by teaching the Dharma to gods and faithful people, they see that they only focus on the Bodhisattva, continuously teaching the Dharma. This Peaceful Wisdom is combined with the great compassion of the Bodhisattva, and is called the correct manifestation of great wisdom. Entering the way of Dharma is called entering the inconceivable realm. Entering the wisdom that is difficult to achieve is called subduing all demons and adversaries. Thus, Peaceful Wisdom, after six years, the Bodhisattva arose from the aforementioned vows and austerities, went to the bank of the Nairanjana River, bathed in accordance with worldly customs, purified his body, and then came out of the Nairanjana River and sat down. Then, a village girl named Lekskye Ma (Good Birth), brought milk porridge boiled with the milk of a thousand cows and mixed with honey, and went to where the Bodhisattva was. In addition, there were also gods, nagas, yakshas, gandharvas, asuras, sky-dwellers, kinnaras, and mahoragas, sixty billion in number, each carrying their own food, and each saying: 'O noble being, please accept my offering!' 'O noble son, please accept my offering!' O Peaceful Wisdom, then the Bodhisattva took all the food from the village girl Lekskye Ma and all the sixty billion gods, nagas, yakshas, and gandharvas, and ate it all, but they could not see each other. Each of the gods thought, 'Please let the Bodhisattva accept my offering!' 'Please let the Bodhisattva accept my offering!' They knew that the Bodhisattva would attain unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. All of them caused the Bodhisattva to be fully matured in unsurpassed, perfect, and complete enlightenment. O Peaceful Wisdom, this is the Bodhisattva's
