Having gone to Lhas Buddha, there, the Blessed One said to the venerable Ananda: Ananda, the Shakya clan was born in this Lhas Buddha and became great in this very place. Having gone to Lumbini, there, the Blessed One said to the venerable Ananda: Ananda, in this garden of Lumbini, not long after I was born, without anyone's support, I took seven steps, and then I looked in the four directions and said: This is the last birth of my existence. Having gone to the place of Serkya, there, the Blessed One said to the venerable Ananda: Ananda, King Suddhodana was born in this place of Serkya and became great in this very place. Having gone to the place with the cotton tree, then, the Blessed One said to the monks: Monks, regarding the non-dharma and the turning of the Dharma, listen well and keep it in mind, I will speak. What is the turning of the non-dharma? That is, acting with desire, acting with hatred, acting with ignorance, and acting with fear. This is called the turning of the non-dharma. What is the turning of the Dharma? That is, not acting with desire, not acting with hatred, not acting with ignorance, and not acting with fear. This is called the turning of the Dharma. Monks, I have told you about the non-dharma and the turning of the Dharma, what I have said is this. Having gone to the town with boundaries, then, the Blessed One said to the venerable Ananda: Ananda, in this town with boundaries, the perfectly enlightened Buddha Golden Sage was born and completely passed into nirvana in this very place.
