In the language of India: Svasti Gatha. In the language of Tibet: Verses of Auspiciousness. Homage to the Three Jewels! A certain god approached and asked the lord of gods: What should be said to bring auspiciousness? Then, he heard these words, the root of the world declared, whatever is constantly recited, listen, my auspiciousness will come. In this world, other worlds, and heavens, all the vast and supreme jewels cannot be compared to the jewel of the perfectly enlightened Buddha, they cannot be counted or measured. Rare, wonderful, and inconceivable, the jewel of the perfectly enlightened Buddha is the supreme in the world. Just as my words are true, by this truth, may there be great auspiciousness! Peace, cessation, nectar, exceedingly excellent, which Shakyamuni realized with equanimity, this Dharma is incomparable to anything, if it is realized, there will be no more suffering. Rare, wonderful, and inconceivable, the jewel of the sacred Dharma is the supreme in the world. Just as my words are true, by this truth, may there be great auspiciousness! The eight noble individuals spoken of by the Victorious One, they are the four pairs of persons, they are the field of offerings, they are extremely rare in the world, if one gives to them, immeasurable merit will result. Rare, wonderful, and inconceivable, the Sangha jewel is the supreme in the world. Just as my words are true, by this truth, may there be great auspiciousness! The supreme teacher, the highest giver, exceedingly rich, the supreme light, the hero, the place of the sacred supreme, sacred wisdom, the supreme of the supreme, the supreme of the non-supreme, the knower of the supreme, this is the one Bhagavan. Rare, wonderful, and inconceivable, the jewel of the perfectly enlightened Buddha is the supreme in the world. Just as my words are true, by this truth, may there be great auspiciousness! The supreme samadhi, without interruption, boundless and unsurpassed, spoken of by the Thus-Gone One, this samadhi is as stable as a diamond, there is no samadhi equal to it. Rare, wonderful, and inconceivable, the jewel of samadhi is the supreme in the world. Just as my words are true, by this truth, may there be great auspiciousness!

Just as a door is tightly shut and extremely secure, unshakable by the four mighty winds, so too, the wise one who abides in seeing the four truths is not moved here by worldly speakers. How wondrous, how exceedingly marvelous and immeasurable! The Sangha Jewel, whatever it may be, is the supreme of the world. Just as this of mine is the supreme truth, may there be great well-being through this truth! Subduing all, all-knowing, all-seeing, knowing all, endowed with all powers, holding the extreme of all, separate from all, all-knowing in thought, this is the one Bhagavan. How wondrous, how exceedingly marvelous and immeasurable! The precious, perfectly enlightened Buddha is the supreme of the world. Just as this of mine is the supreme truth, may there be great well-being through this truth! Stopping existence, unmoving, unchanging, without fault, completely liberated from all fears, utterly stopping and abundant, certainly arising, utterly stainless, peaceful, not stolen by the mind. How wondrous, how exceedingly marvelous and immeasurable! The precious Dharma is the supreme of the world. Just as this of mine is the supreme truth, may there be great well-being through this truth! Showing extreme suffering and giving bliss, seeing the truths, those who are mindful, without doubt in the precious truths, they will not take an eighth birth later. How wondrous, how exceedingly marvelous and immeasurable! The Sangha Jewel, whatever it may be, is the supreme of the world. Just as this of mine is the supreme truth, may there be great well-being through this truth! The holy ones know the ultimate meaning of the holy, knowing the supreme and the non-supreme, striving for the ultimate meaning, not stolen by others, the holy ones understand in their hearts, the supreme refuge from extreme sufferings. How wondrous, how exceedingly marvelous and immeasurable! The precious, perfectly enlightened Buddha is the supreme of the world. Just as this of mine is the supreme truth, may there be great well-being through this truth! Having generated intention, being endowed with yoga, always striving in the teachings of Gautama, completely liberated, not deceived by others, touching peace there. 愿吉祥！以见真谛故，于忘失百道中，纵然造作些微罪，然彼非是堕落之因，此乃法性不可动摇故。稀有甚奇不可思议，僧伽珍宝乃世间胜，如我之此是真实胜义，以此真谛愿极吉祥！于天人等一切世间中，无有胜于或等同于佛者，是天人无上导师，导师船夫，乃诸医之胜。稀有甚奇不可思议，圆满佛陀珍宝乃世间胜，如我之此是真实胜义，以此真谛愿极吉祥！于娑伽月之首月，能仁于林中，善得殊胜之法，彼法无有胜于或等同者，于此彼触不可计数。稀有甚奇不可思议，正法珍宝乃世间胜，如我之此是真实胜义，以此真谛愿极吉祥！旧罪已尽，未造新罪，无有瘟疫，故无惧离忧，断绝根本，故不生有，教法如灯般炽燃。稀有甚奇不可思议，僧伽珍宝乃世间胜，如我之此是真实胜义，以此真谛愿极吉祥！吉祥偈颂圆满。

May there be auspiciousness! Because of seeing the truth, in the hundred paths of forgetfulness, even if some small sins are committed, that is not a reason for falling, because this is the unchanging nature of Dharma. How wonderful, amazing, and immeasurable! The precious Sangha is the best in the world. Just as this of mine is the ultimate truth, may there be great auspiciousness through this truth! In all the worlds with gods and humans, there is no one superior or equal to the Buddha. He is the unsurpassed teacher of gods and humans, the guide and captain, the best of all doctors. How wonderful, amazing, and immeasurable! The precious, perfect Buddha is the best in the world. Just as this of mine is the ultimate truth, may there be great auspiciousness through this truth! In the first month of the Saga month, the Able One, in the forest, perfectly attained the supreme Dharma. There is nothing superior or equal to that Dharma. Touching it cannot be counted. How wonderful, amazing, and immeasurable! The precious, sacred Dharma is the best in the world. Just as this of mine is the ultimate truth, may there be great auspiciousness through this truth! Old sins are exhausted, and no new sins are committed. Without epidemics, there is fearlessness and freedom from sorrow. Because the root is cut off, existence is not produced. May the teachings blaze like a lamp. How wonderful, amazing, and immeasurable! The precious Sangha is the best in the world. Just as this of mine is the ultimate truth, may there be great auspiciousness through this truth! The verses of auspiciousness are complete.
