印度语：德瓦帕里普里恰芒嘎拉嘎塔。藏语：天神请问吉祥偈。 顶礼三宝！ 无人能胜圆满正等觉， 怙主于一方安住时， 一天神大英雄， 顶礼如是请问言： 希求善妙义利时， 天人各自皆言说， 诸多吉祥若宣说， 何者才是胜妙吉祥？ 世尊如是告白说： 希求善妙义利时， 天人各自皆言说， 诸多吉祥若宣说， 彼等吉祥应宣说。 处所佳妙住处好， 殊胜友伴昔积福， 心善安住已成就， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 布施以及语极柔， 如实义理善通晓， 具戒律者恒相应， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 孩童诸事莫依恃， 贤士诸事当依恃， 应供诸事作供养， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 侍奉孝敬于父母， 寂静梵行常修持， 慈爱有情诸众生， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 罪恶诸业悉远离， 善妙诸业当依止， 具正念者恒黠慧， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 无有傲慢及贡高， 知足随顺以维生， 恒常所作皆酬谢， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 不嗔不谤复能忍， 与诸圣者常相合， 适时听闻于正法， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 无有懈怠多听闻， 如理通达于正法， 如是心意无垢染， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 若人于诸有情众， 慈爱之心恒修习， 无量无边不散乱， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 若人于诸圣谛理， 智慧之眼善清净， 戒律未曾有毁犯， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 见诸殊胜之谛理， 梵行修持常精进， 证得寂灭涅槃果， 此乃胜妙之吉祥。 若人贪欲与嗔恚， 以及无明亦永断， 证得不乱之智慧
English
In the language of India: Devapariprccha Mangala Gatha. In the language of Tibet: Verses on Auspiciousness Requested by a God. Homage to the Three Jewels! The perfectly enlightened Buddha, unconquerable by others, When the protector dwells in one direction, One god, a great hero, Prostrates and makes this request: When seeking virtuous benefit, Gods and humans each, When auspiciousness is spoken, Which is the supreme auspiciousness? The Bhagavan spoke thus: When seeking virtuous benefit, Gods and humans each, When auspiciousness is spoken, These auspiciousnesses should be spoken. Good land, good dwelling, excellent friend, And having done merit in the past, And having well placed the mind, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Giving and speaking very sweetly, And truly understanding the meaning, And associating with those who possess discipline, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Not relying on children, And relying on the wise, And making offerings to those worthy of offerings, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Serving and honoring parents, And living in peace and celibacy, And having compassion for all beings, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Turning away from sinful deeds, And relying on virtuous deeds, Being mindful and always wise, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Without pride and without arrogance, And living contentedly, Always being grateful for what has been done, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Not scolding, likewise being patient, And associating with the noble ones, And listening to the Dharma at the right time, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Without laziness and with much learning, And well understanding the Dharma, Likewise, the mind is without impurity, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Whoever meditates on the mind of love, For all sentient beings, Immeasurable and undisturbed, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Whoever has purified the eye of wisdom, For the noble truths, And whose discipline has not been violated, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Seeing the noble truths, And practicing celibacy, And attaining Nirvana, That is the supreme auspiciousness. Whoever has abandoned desire, hatred, And also ignorance, And will generate undisturbed knowledge

Chinese
那是吉祥殊胜的。 即使被世间诸法所动摇， 谁的心也不动摇， 无垢寂静且无忧恼， 那是吉祥殊胜的。 彼与此是何等之理， 于此吉祥彼等即是， 无论哪位智者赞颂， 于彼恒常吉祥转变。 天神所请问的吉祥偈颂完毕。
English
That is auspicious and supreme. Even though moved by worldly phenomena, Whose mind does not waver, Immaculate, peaceful, and without sorrow, That is auspicious and supreme. That and this, in whatever way is appropriate, In this, those auspicious ones, Whichever wise one praises, For him, auspiciousness always transforms. The verses on auspiciousness, as requested by the gods, are complete.
