Homage to the Three Jewels! Whether in this world or in the past, and in the heavens, there are precious and supreme things. The Tathagata is the god of gods, the most excellent of humans, and there is none equal to him in this world. Therefore, he is called the supreme of jewels. By this truth, may there be auspiciousness here! Exhaustion, detachment from attachment, nectar, unconditioned, were thoroughly revealed by the wise Shakyamuni. Nectar is peaceful, not a fabricated dharma, and nothing can compare to it. Therefore, it is called the supreme of jewels. By this truth, may there be auspiciousness here! The supreme desire is thoroughly shown in accordance with the way, the supreme yoga of the teacher is constantly practiced. Even diamond-like eyes cannot see it, and there is nothing equal to that samadhi. Therefore, it is called the supreme of jewels. By this truth, may there be auspiciousness here! The eight great persons are highly praised, and they are called the four pairs of persons. The great sages, incomparable persons, are known by the Sugata as the field of giving. If one gives to them, the fruit will be great, like sowing seeds in a fertile field. This is the Sangha, the supreme of jewels. By this truth, may there be auspiciousness here! Those who diligently strive with steadfast minds and enter the teachings of Gautama, they obtain the entrance to nectar, dispel darkness, and attain nirvana. Therefore, the Sangha is the supreme of jewels. By this truth, may there be auspiciousness here! As soon as one is connected with this view, the view of the aggregates, the adherence to vows and rituals, and doubt and the three defilements, are immediately abandoned, and the noble truth is seen. Therefore, the Sangha is the supreme of jewels. By this truth, may there be auspiciousness here! Whether by body, speech, or mind, one never commits the three sins, and even if one does so accidentally, one does not conceal it, nor does one grasp it with wrong views. Therefore, the Sangha is the supreme of jewels. By this truth, may there be auspiciousness here! Just as an Indra's pillar is firmly planted in the ground and is not shaken by the winds of the four directions, so it is with the noble Sangha who have seen the noble path. Therefore, the Sangha is the supreme of jewels.

Those who contemplate the noble truth, which is profoundly taught by deep wisdom, and who have the intention to give even their body as alms, they will not encounter the eight fears. Just as fire is fiercely scattered by the wind, and cannot be counted when taken in hand, so too, the sons of the Buddhas, having completely abandoned all combinations, go forth without being shown. Therefore, the Sangha is said to be the supreme jewel. By this truth, may there be auspiciousness here! May all sentient beings, whether moving or unmoving, be happy here. The supreme teacher, worthy of offerings from gods and humans, I pay homage to the Buddha, may there be auspiciousness here today! May all sentient beings, whether moving or unmoving, be happy here.
