And, may great power be attained for doing good. Homage to the venerable Avalokiteśvara, the powerful one, endowed with great compassion. By remembering and reciting the name of the noble, powerful one of compassion, may all those sufferings of many beings in this world, caused by great famines, and harms such as fire, water, and wind, be pacified and eliminated. Homage to the venerable Avalokiteśvara, the powerful one, endowed with great compassion. By remembering and reciting the name of the noble, powerful one of compassion, may I and all sentient beings, when approaching the great moment of death and transference from this world to the next, directly see the face of the noble, powerful one of compassion, and may you grant us great blessings. May I and other sentient beings who are dying, not be touched by afflictions, be mindful of the dharma of selflessness, possess immeasurable and steadfast bodhicitta, be without fear, possess unobstructed courage, may all feelings of suffering be pacified, and may we die while maintaining mindfulness. In all lifetimes, may we be born at the feet of the noble Avalokiteśvara, possess the ability to remember past lives, and be endowed with a complete bodhicitta, thereby pleasing the noble, powerful one of compassion, and may we possess the power to accomplish as taught. May we, like the powerful one of compassion, naturally accomplish the gate of liberation of great compassion, and may we become one with the compassion of all Buddhas. Just as the powerful one of compassion matures all sentient beings, purifies all Buddha-fields, and perfects all Buddha-dharmas, may I and all sentient beings also mature all sentient beings, purify all Buddha-fields, and perfect all Buddha-dharmas. Like the compassion of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the three times, I remember the noble Avalokiteśvara.

And by mentioning the name. May I mention the names and pay homage to all the Buddhas of the three times, along with their sons. Just as the essence of compassion of all the Buddhas of the three times, along with their sons, is the noble Avalokiteśvara, may I remember and mention his name, and make offerings. May the union of the means of great compassion constantly arise for all sentient beings who have become the object of great compassion. As long as I am in samsara, as many times as I am born with a body, may I worship the protector and accumulate as many bodily actions. As long as I am in samsara, as many times as my speech arises, may I recite the name of the protector and accumulate verbal actions. As long as I am in samsara, as many times as my mind arises, may I remember the protector and accumulate mental actions.
