In Sanskrit: Arya-asta-maha-bhaya-tarani-nama-dharani. In Tibetan: The Dharani Called "Noble Deliverance from the Eight Great Fears." Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Homage to the Tathagata, the source of qualities! Homage to the Tathagata, all-pervading fragrance! Homage to the Tathagata, endowed with invincible power! Homage to the Tathagata, who completely removes all obscurations! Homage to the Tathagata, supreme moon! Homage to the Tathagata, king of peace! Homage to the Tathagata, lunar master! Homage to the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, endowed with great compassion, who bestows fearlessness! Tadyatha. Dhare dhare. Dhare dharani. Ratna kote. Abhaya kalbe. Kalbeni. Gane ananta kalbe. Amrita kalbe. Hutashare. Ananta mukhe. Ananta chakshusa mudgate. Om bha svaha. Son of good family, these secret mantras of the dharani, for the sake of the benefit of sentient beings who go to the lower realms, are spoken, blessed, and rejoiced in by as many Buddhas, Bhagavat, as there are grains of sand in the Ganges. Son of good family, any Bodhisattva who holds this dharani will be completely liberated from the eight fears: the boundless fear of the hells of sentient beings, the boundless fear of the birthplaces of animals, the boundless fear of the realm of Yama, the boundless fear of , the boundless fear of difficult paths, the boundless fear of birth, the boundless fear of disease, and the boundless fear of death. The Buddhas, Bhagavat, of the ten directions will remember him. At the time of death, his mind will not be distracted, and he will be born before the Buddhas. He will obtain an inexhaustible body, and he will also obtain a manifested body. Nama sarva vidya. Siddhantu me mantra pada svaha.
