In Sanskrit: Arya Dvamiḍa Vidyā Rāzā. In Tibetan: Noble King of the Vidya Mantra of Walking Thunderbolts. Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas. Thus have I heard. Once, the Blessed One was dwelling in the bamboo grove courtyard in Shravasti. Then, the Blessed One spoke to the Venerable Ananda: Ananda, listen, I will now explain what the Buddhas of the past, perfectly and completely enlightened, have said to avert all lightning, each following its own path. Ananda, in the east, there is a lightning called "Coming." Ananda, in the south, there is a lightning called "Hundred Voices." Ananda, in the west, there is a lightning called "Diminishing Light." Ananda, in the north, there is a lightning called "Constant Lord." Ananda, whoever knows the names of these lightnings and knows their directions, know that they will not experience any fear of lightning. Write these names of lightning in letters, and in whatever place they are placed, all lightning will not fall in those places. Then, at that time, the Blessed One spoke these basic secret mantras of Walking Thunderbolts: Tadyatha. Nimi ni nimi ni nimi ni nimi ni mina dhare. Illuminator of the three worlds, holder of the trident, protect me from all lightning in this direction, protect me, protect me, Svaha. Also at that time, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva, the Noble Avalokiteshvara, having gathered in that assembly, said to the Blessed One: Blessed One, I too shall speak the basis of the secret mantra of Walking Thunderbolts in this Dharma category. Tadyatha. Hate vihate. Nihate. Pratyarthike. Pratyamitre. Shuddhe. Mukte. Vimali. Prabhasvare. Andare. Pandare. Shwete. Pandara vasini. Hari kara di. Pingala lakshi danti mukhi. Protect me from all untimely deaths, protect me, protect me. By the radiance of the Noble Avalokiteshvara, may I not see all untimely deaths, Svaha. Then, the Lord of Secrets, Vajrapani, went to where the Blessed One was.

Then, with palms joined, he addressed the Blessed One, saying: "Blessed One, I too shall recite the words of the dhāraṇī for this Dharma category." Tadyathā: Muni Muni, Muni Muni, Re Ri, Mati Mati, Sumati, Mahāmati, Hā Hā Hā Hā. Vajrapāṇi said, "You have no sin, do not be afraid." Drāḍha Svāhā. Blessed One, whose heart does this invincible protection of mine hold? If it is written in letters, I will always protect him from all fears. I will liberate him from all untimely deaths. Then Brahmā, the lord of the Sahā world, addressed the Blessed One, saying: "Blessed One, I too, for the sake of all sentient beings, and for the sake of bringing benefit, happiness, and well-being, shall recite the root mantras of the dhāraṇī for this Dharma category." Tadyathā: Hili Mili, Ci Li Svāhā, Brahma Svāre Svāre Svāhā, Brahma Garbha Puṣpa Saṃstāre Svāhā. Blessed One, this is my protection, called the Punishment of Brahmā. It completely saves from all untimely deaths and completely pacifies all sins. Then Indra, the lord of the gods, with palms joined, addressed the Blessed One, saying: "Blessed One, I too shall recite the root mantras of the dhāraṇī for this Dharma category." Tadyathā: Ni Varṇī, Bandha Bandha, Mā Dana Dhe, Mati Mati, Ti Ṭi, Gauri, Gandhari, Caṇḍali, Mataṃgi, Vara Lani, Hīna Madhyama Dhāranī Malani, Dāla Matte, Cakra Pakri, Śapa Ri Śapa Ri Svāhā. Venerable Blessed One, this is my vidyā-mantra, called the Vajra Tongue Subduer. It liberates from all fears and completely saves from all untimely deaths. ་ལ་བདེ་བ་དང་།འཇིག་རྟེན་ལ་སྙིང་བརྩེ་བའི་སླད་དུ། ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་འདི་ལ་གཟུངས་ཀྱི་གསང་སྔགས་གཞི་རྣམས་བརྗོད་པར་བགྱིའོ། །ཏདྱ་ཐཱ། པུཥྤེ་པུཥྤེ། དྷརྨ་བ་རི་ཧ་རི། ཨཱརྱ་པྲ་ཤ་སྟེ། ནི་ར་མུ་ཀྟེ། མ~ཾ་ ག་ལི།སྟུ་ཏེ། ཏ་བི་ཏེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། བཙུན་པ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་འདི་ནི་རྒྱལ་པོ་ཆེན་པོ་བཞི་པོ་བདག་ཅག་གི་སྲུང་བ་འཇིགས་པ་མ་མཆིས་པ་ཞེས་བྱ་སྟེ། འཇིགས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལས་མི་འཇིགས་པར་བགྱིད་པ། ཚེ་སྐྱོང་བ། དུས་མ་ལགས་པར་ འགུམ་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལས་ཡོངས་སུ་སྐྱོབ་པ་ལགས་སོ།།དེ་ནས་ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་རྒྱ་མཚོ་དང་། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གློག་འོད་དང་། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་མ་དྲོས་པ་དང་། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་གློག་ལྕེ་དང་། ཀླུའི་རྒྱལ་པོ་འོད་ཟེར་བརྒྱ་པས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ག་ ལ་བ་དེ་ལོགས་སུ་ཐལ་མོ་སྦྱར་བ་བཏུད་དེ།བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ལ་འདི་སྐད་ཅེས་གསོལ་ཏོ། །བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་བདག་ཅག་གི་སྲུང་བ་ཆེན་པོ་ཡིད་བཞིན་གྱི་ནོར་བུ་ཞེས་བགྱི་བ། གློག་ཐམས་ཅད་ཟློག་པ། དུས་མ་ལགས་པར་འགུམ་ པ་ཐམས་ཅད་སེལ་བ།དུག་རྣམས་མི་སྡུག་པར་བགྱིད་པ། གཤེད་བྱེད་དང་། བྱད་དང་། རོ་ལངས་དང་། བཀྲ་མི་ཤིས་པ་འཇིག་པར་བགྱིད་པ་མཆིས་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་བདག་ཅག་ཀླུའི་སྐྱེ་གནས་འདི་ནས་དབྱུང་ བ་དང་།སེར་སྣ་སྤང་བའི་སླད་དུ་ཐུགས་བརྩེ་བར་དགོངས་ཏེ་དེ་བཞེས་སུ་གསོལ། དེ་ཅིའི་སླད་དུ་ཞེ་ན། བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་བདག་ཅག་ཀླུ་རྣམས་ནི་སེམས་སེར་སྣ་ཅན་ཏེ། སེམས་སེར་སྣས་ཀུན་ནས་དཀྲིས་པ་ལགས་པའི་སླད་ དུའོ།།ཏདྱ་ཐཱ། ཨར་ཛེ། ཨ་མ་རེ། ཨ་མྲྀ་ཏེ། ཨཀྵ་ཡེ། པུཎྱ་པརྱཱ་བ་ཏེ། སརྦ་པཱ་པ་པྲ་ཤ་མ་ནཱ་ཡ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། ཨཱརྱ་པུ་ཎྱ་སོ་པ་ཀཱི་ཡེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། བཙུན་པ་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་གསང་སྔགས་གཞི་འདི་དག་སྐྱེས་པའམ། བུད་མེད་གང་ལ་ལའི་ལྕེ་ལ་འདོན་ཏམ། ཡི་གེར་བྲིས་པ་དེ་ལ་གློག་གི་འཇིགས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་མ་མཆིས་པར་རིག་པར་བགྱིའོ། །རྩ་བའི་དུག་གམ། མཆེ་བའི་དུག་གམ། དབྱིག་དུག་གམ། གང་དག་གཞན་ཡང་ཡན་ལག་ལས བྱུང་བའི་དུག་དེ་དག་གིས་དེ་འགུམ་པའི་དུས་བགྱིད་པར་མི་འགྱུར་རོ།།བདག་འཇིགས་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་དང་། གནོད་པ་ཐམས་ཅད་ལས་བདེ་ལེགས་སུ་གྱུར་ཅིག་།དེ་ནས་བཅོམ་ལྡན་འདས་ཀྱིས་བརྒྱ་བྱིན་དང་། ཚངས་པ་དང་། འཇིག་ རྟེན་སྐྱོང་བ་དང་།ཀླུའི་བདག་པོ་དེ་དག་ལ་ལེགས་སོ་ཞེས་བྱ་བ་བྱིན་ཏེ། བཞིན་དག་ཁྱོད་སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོ་ལ་ཕན་པ་དང་། སྐྱེ་བོ་མང་པོ་ལ་བདེ་བའི་ཕྱིར་ཞུགས་ཏེ། ཆོས་ཀྱི་རྣམ་གྲངས་འདི་རྗེས་སུ་གཟུང

ལ་ལ་安乐，为了对世间慈悲。 在此法类中，我将宣说陀罗尼之根本咒语。 怛[口*它] ཨཱཿ དྱ་ཐཱ། पुषपे पुषपे (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思：पुष्पे पुष्पे，puṣpe puṣpe，花啊花)། धर् म बर ཧ་རི། ཨཱརྱ་པྲ་ཤ་སྟེ། ནི་ར་མུ་ཀྟེ། མ~ཾ་ག་ལི།སྟུ་ཏེ། ཏ་བི་ཏེ་སྭཱ་ཧཱ། 尊者世尊，此乃四大天王，是我们的守护，名为无畏。能使不畏惧一切怖畏，护持寿命，救护一切非时横死。 之后，龙王海，龙王电光，龙王无热恼，龙王电舌，龙王百光，向世尊所在之处合掌恭敬，向世尊禀告说： 世尊，我们的这个大守护，名为如意宝珠。能遮止一切闪电，消除一切非时横死，使毒药变得不可爱，能摧毁杀者、诅咒、僵尸和不吉祥。 世尊，为了将我们从龙的处境中解脱出来，并舍弃悭吝，请您慈悲地接受它。 这是为了什么呢？ 世尊，我们龙族是心怀悭吝的，因为我们的心被悭吝所缠绕。 怛[口*它] ཨཱཿ དྱ་ཐཱ། अर्जे (藏文，梵文天城体，梵文罗马拟音，汉语字面意思：अर्जे，arje，获得)。 阿玛热。 阿姆利得。 阿克沙耶。 奔亚巴亚哇得。 萨瓦巴巴扎夏玛纳亚 梭哈。 阿雅奔亚索巴克耶 梭哈。 尊者世尊，如果有人或女人在舌头上念诵这些根本咒语，或将其写成文字，要知道他们不会有任何闪电的恐惧。 无论是根毒、牙毒、箭毒，还是其他任何从肢体产生的毒，都不会使他们死亡。 愿我从一切恐惧和一切损害中获得安乐吉祥。 之后，世尊对帝释天、梵天、护世者和龙王们说：“善哉！善哉！你们是为了利益众生，为了众生的安乐而行，请受持此法类。

For the sake of happiness and compassion for the world, I will speak the root mantras of the Dharani in this Dharma category. Tadyatha. Puspe puspe. Dharma bari hari. Arya prasaste. Nira mukte. Mamgali stute. Ta bi te svaha. Venerable Bhagavan, this is the protection of the four great kings, called fearless. It makes one fearless from all fears, protects life, and saves one from all untimely deaths. Then, the dragon king Ocean, the dragon king Lightning Light, the dragon king Anavatapta, the dragon king Lightning Tongue, and the dragon king Hundred Rays, folded their palms respectfully towards the place where the Bhagavan was, and said to the Bhagavan: Bhagavan, this great protection of ours is called the wish-fulfilling jewel. It can ward off all lightning, eliminate all untimely deaths, make poisons unattractive, and destroy killers, curses, zombies, and inauspiciousness. Bhagavan, please accept it with compassion in order to liberate us from the state of dragons and to abandon stinginess. Why is that? Bhagavan, we dragons are stingy in mind, because our minds are entangled with stinginess. Tadyatha. Arje. Amare. Amrite. Akshaye. Punya paryavate. Sarva papa prashamanaya svaha. Arya punya sopakiye svaha. Venerable Bhagavan, if any man or woman recites these root mantras on their tongue, or writes them down, know that they will not have any fear of lightning. Whether it is root poison, tooth poison, arrow poison, or any other poison that arises from the limbs, it will not cause them to die. May I be well and auspicious from all fears and all harms. Then, the Bhagavan gave approval to Indra, Brahma, the world protectors, and the dragon kings, saying: "Well done! Well done! You have entered for the benefit of many beings and for the happiness of many beings, please uphold this Dharma category."
