D904 @#. In the language of India: Arya Samantabhadra Nama Dharani. In Tibetan: The Dharani Called "Noble All-Good". Homage to all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas! Thus have I heard at one time. The Blessed One was dwelling in Rajagriha (now Rajgir, Bihar), on Vulture Peak Mountain, together with a great Sangha of eight thousand monks, and ninety-nine kotis nayutas hundred thousands of Bodhisattvas. He was surrounded by many hundred thousands of sons of gods from the Pure Abodes, who gazed upon him and listened to his teachings. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Avalokiteshvara rose from his seat, draped his upper robe over one shoulder, knelt on his right knee, and, with palms joined, bowed towards the Blessed One and said to him: "Blessed One, today I shall reveal the All-Good Dharani taken from the light of the Tathagata Moon. As soon as they hear this dharani, those who are on the Bodhisattva path will not turn back and will quickly attain the Unsurpassed, Perfectly Complete Enlightenment. They will also eliminate all karmic obscurations, obtain perfect great prosperity, obtain a pure body, obtain pure speech, obtain a pure mind, perfect all the oceans of Paramitas, obtain all the oceans of Dharanis, and please all who see the Tathagata. If hearing this dharani has become meaningful, I pray that the World Honored One will grant permission, and may the fourfold assembly also rejoice. The World Honored One said: If you know that the time for sentient beings to be purified has arrived, then speak. The Tathagata has already blessed this fourfold assembly. Then, the Bodhisattva Mahasattva Arya Avalokiteshvara, in that instant, moment, and short while, entered into the samadhi of the Vajra Mandala and spoke this dharani. Homage to the Three Jewels!
