Dedication to the Ten Directions, etc. Dedication to the Ten Directions, etc. The Dedication. May all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas abiding in the ten directions consider me. May the root of virtue thus performed be wholly dedicated with the supreme dedication that is pure in the three spheres and transcends the world. I rejoice in the supreme and sacred virtue of each and every noble being. And thus, the virtue of rejoicing, and the root of virtue thus performed, I offer to all the victorious ones of the ten directions, together with their sons and disciples. By thus offering, may clouds of offerings arise, like those arising from the liberation of Samantabhadra, continuously throughout the three times. May that root of virtue be wholly dedicated to all sentient beings, equal to the extent of the sky. Having obtained as dedicated, may all sentient beings be endowed with happiness and free from suffering, and quickly attain the precious state of Buddhahood, which knows all aspects. May that root of virtue ripen immediately in my own or my descendants' lineage. Having thus ripened, may all sins, obscurations, faults, downfalls, and impairments be purified. May all merit, wisdom, and qualities increase and expand like the waxing moon. May I have a long and healthy life, and may all my aspirations be fulfilled in accordance with the Dharma. May I be adorned with the three trainings and enjoy the six perfections. May the four immeasurables arise in my being, and may I possess the four means of gathering disciples. May I be skilled in the three baskets and rich in the seven noble riches. May I attain stability in the generation stage, and may whatever activity I undertake be accomplished without hindrance. May the qualities of the channels and winds be perfected, and may I attain the supreme accomplishment of the clear light Mahamudra. When the time comes to pass away, may I awaken as the Dharmakaya at the moment of death, and may I arise as the Sambhogakaya in the bardo. 愿一切功德圆满，毫不费力地成就利益众生之事！以此所作的无量功德，愿我及与我有关联的众生，一旦舍弃这不净之身，便立即化生于极乐世界！一出生便迅速超越十地，以化身于十方利益他众！愿以此功德，获得遍知之性，战胜罪恶之敌，从生老病死的波涛汹涌的轮回之海中，救度众生！临终祈愿时加上此句。愿如此善妙之善，已故的名为“某某”之人能够追随！追随之后，愿已故之人的相续中，此善根立即成熟！如此成熟之后，愿一切罪障、罪业、过失皆得清净！愿中阴的恐惧、惊吓、错觉全部平息！即使已经投生于恶道，也愿立即解脱！从今以后，愿断绝六道轮回的一切生门！愿不被其他转世所阻隔，转生于西方极乐净土！一出生便愿莲花盛开，得见无量光佛的尊容！获得语之正法，并得到无上菩提的授记！得到授记之后，愿七多罗树耸立于虚空，获得初地极喜地的果位！愿以自己的功德和神通力，用无量的供养云来侍奉如来！行持广大的菩提行，并逐渐获得菩提果位！如莲花不染污泥一般，愿不被三界垢染，从轮回的莲花中生出，转生于极乐世界！从这里断气之后，立即在清净的极乐净土，于莲花日月之蕊中，化生受生！一旦舍弃这不净之身，便立即化生于极乐世界！一出生便迅速超越十地，以化身度化所有众生！愿佛陀的坛城美好而欢喜。

May all virtues be completely perfected, and may the benefit of beings be effortlessly and spontaneously accomplished! Through the immeasurable merit of doing this, may I and all beings connected to me, as soon as we abandon this impure body, be immediately reborn in Sukhavati! As soon as we are born, may we quickly transcend the ten bhumis, and with emanations, work for the benefit of others in the ten directions! May we, through this merit, attain omniscience, defeat the enemies of faults, and liberate beings from the ocean of samsara, turbulent with the waves of birth, old age, sickness, and death! Add this to the death dedication. May the deceased, called "so-and-so," follow such goodness! Having followed, may this root of virtue ripen immediately in the continuum of the deceased! Having ripened in this way, may all obscurations, sins, and faults be purified! May all the fears, terrors, and illusions of the bardo be pacified! Even if they have already been born in the lower realms, may they be liberated immediately! From now on, may all the doors of birth in the six realms of samsara be cut off! May we be born in the western pure land of Sukhavati, without being interrupted by other rebirths! As soon as we are born, may the lotus flower open, and may we see the face of Buddha Amitabha! May we obtain the Dharma of speech and receive the prediction of supreme enlightenment! As soon as we receive the prediction, may seven tala trees rise into the sky, and may we attain the state of the first bhumi, the Joyful Land! May we serve the Tathagata with immeasurable clouds of offerings, through the power of our own merit and miraculous abilities! May we engage in the vast conduct of enlightenment and gradually attain the state of enlightenment! Just as the lotus is not stained by mud, may we not be stained by the impurities of the three realms, and may we be born from the lotus of samsara, and be reborn in Sukhavati! As soon as we pass away from here, may we immediately in the pure land of Sukhavati, in the pistil of the lotus sun and moon, take birth miraculously! As soon as we abandon this impure body, may we be immediately reborn in Sukhavati! As soon as we are born, may we quickly transcend the ten bhumis, and with emanations, lead all beings! May the mandala of the Victorious Ones be good and joyful.

There, born from an exceedingly beautiful lotus, may that deceased also obtain the prophecy directly given by the Buddha Amitabha. There, once he thoroughly obtains that prophecy, may he also, with the power of wisdom from hundreds of thousands of millions of emanations, greatly benefit sentient beings in the ten directions. May it be accomplished as wished for, through the blessing of attaining the three bodies of the Buddha, the blessing of the unchanging truth of Dharma, and the blessing of the Sangha's unwavering intention. Homage to the Three Jewels. Tadyatha. Pañca dri ya ava bodhana ye svaha. This was written by Ra ga A syas as the heart essence of the Vidyadhara of Orgyen. The meaning of the twenty-fifth, etc., sutras and tantras, is profound and vast. Mangalam!
