Eight Gods Divination Eight Gods Divination Herein resides the Eight Gods Divination. Homage! By the truth of the assembly of deities of the three jewels of refuge, cast the divination. Cast it clearly. Cast it honestly. Separately distinguish good from bad, auspicious from inauspicious. Om Ah Hum Vajra Guru Padma Siddhi Hum. Swords will be seen, enemies will be seen, bloodshed will occur. There is an enemy, so perform methods to repel the enemy. (Three) If it falls on the lion, Blue mane grows on the body of a white lion. Whatever is divined is auspicious. Especially auspicious for the divination of the sick. There will be hail and blizzards. (Four) If it falls on the elephant, The granary is filled with wealth. The treasury is filled with grain. Grass grows on the barren mountaintop. Water flows in the waterless valley. Branches grow on the dry tree. Those without children or wealth will gain children and wealth. Whatever is divined is auspicious. (Five) If it falls on the hundred horse tethering post, The snow melts from the white snow mountain peak. The enemy leader is blinded by hope. Auspicious for the divination of foot soldiers and horse handlers. Auspicious for the divination of hunters and hunting dogs. The footprints of those who leave are large. The speed of those who return is fast. (Six) If it falls on the badger, Wealth cannot enter the house. Food and wealth in the cave decrease. Many thoughts arise in the mind. Things will not succeed. The footprints are large, hail falls. Wishes will not be fulfilled. (Seven) If it falls on the turtle, Darkness gathers in the enemy's land. A lamp is lit in one's own land. Even if ninety-nine nose rings are put on a male yak, The nose rope is still in one's own hand. (Eight) If it falls on the white bird, The white bird sings. Auspicious for the divination of going and dwelling. Having heard a loud sound. Having observed with sharp eyes. Within three days, very clear news will be heard.
