The Condensed Great Cloud Sutra. The Condensed Great Cloud Sutra. As spoken in the Noble Great Cloud Sutra: Oṃ (藏文：ཨོཾ，梵文天城体：ओ，梵文罗马拟音：oṃ，汉语字面意思：嗡). To the Bhagavan Tathagata, the perfectly complete Buddha, the Great Cloud possessing the essence of Vairochana, and the beautiful adornments of the clouds arising from the Naga race. To the splendor of the Great Cloud, the water-holding cloud, I prostrate, make offerings, take refuge, and supplicate. The wind-center destroys the clouds, and the Great Cloud arises. In the immeasurable sky, the Great Cloud flashes with lightning, the Great Cloud possesses power, the hero is adorned with clouds, the Great Cloud is a vast umbrella, the Great Cloud is a great mandala. To the pillar of clouds and light, and the Great Cloud Lion, I prostrate, make offerings, take refuge, and supplicate. The Great Cloud covers and the Great Cloud is dense like an umbrella. The arising of clouds makes manifest, the mandala resounds with the sound of drums. The clouds increase, the Great Cloud is a blue lotus, the Great Cloud is a fragrant body, the Great Cloud is powerful, the Great Cloud is radiant, to all the Great Clouds, I prostrate, make offerings, take refuge, and supplicate. Like a cloud of great precious jewels, like clouds destroying, with streams of clouds, gathering clouds at the wrong time, clouds and tongues descending, destroying, like clouds appearing in the sky, producing cloud sounds. To the Great Cloud, born of rain, scattering water, to all the clouds, I prostrate, make offerings, take refuge, and supplicate. The cloud that accomplishes glory, the cloud form is infinite, possessing six tastes, accomplishing great water clouds. The Great Cloud fills with the ocean, and the cloud radiates light. When rain does not fall, the clouds completely fill, the cloud is cool and displeasing, proclaiming vastness and depth, I prostrate, make offerings, take refuge, and supplicate. The Great Cloud spreads, the Ganges water cloud, with power like clouds, the hero roars like a dragon, the cloud shows, the cloud is vast, and the cloud drips, like clouds proclaiming, the victorious cloud, the cloud garments, to those who dwell on the cloud seat, I prostrate, make offerings, take refuge, and supplicate. The cloud that gathers and the rain cloud is the cloud, the cloud's harvest increases, and to Shakyamuni, I prostrate, make offerings, take refuge, and supplicate. By the power of prostrating and making offerings to them, may the suffering of all the Nagas of the three thousand worlds and this land be forever ceased, and may all happiness [arise].

To all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, including Vairochana, I prostrate with reverence. By the truth of these, I pray that all obstacles to the falling of rain be removed. All the great nagas and their retinues, remember the Three Jewels and the teachings of Shakyamuni Buddha, come here with hearts of loving-kindness and compassion, and quickly send down rain for the benefit of beings. Powerful and glorious naga kings, remember the teachings, blessings, and vows of the Victorious Ones, and the great kindness of your own dharma, and quickly send down great rain in this land. The Three Jewels and the secret lord Vajrapani, Brahma and Indra, the four great kings of near authority, the eight great naga kings and their retinues, by the great power of truth, quickly send down rain. Cloud-producing mothers and other hosts of cloud goddesses, those who urge the nagas with thunder and other sounds, by the power of the blessings of the Sugatas, send down rain. I pray that you quickly urge the nagas. All the Sugatas of the three times, with hearts of loving-kindness and compassion, urge the nagas.
