Starting from \"A body white, unblemished by faults,\" reciting and prostrating brings immense benefits. The times for prostration are: reciting the name of the Noble Avalokiteśvara (འཕགས་པ་སྤྱན་རས་གཟིགས་དབང་ཕྱུག་) and prostrating is like the Buddhas as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, when demonstrating what is called \"Great Miraculous Power,\" that is, when subduing the six non-Buddhist teachers; during Saga Dawa (ས་ག་དུས་ཟབཟང་) from the first to the fifteenth day, when turning the wheel of Dharma; the fourth day of the intercalary month Sari month; and the time when the descent from the gods is promised; the twenty-fourth and fifteenth of the month of digging mustard greens (ཡུངས་བརྐོ་ཟླ་བ); the time of the first day of descent from the gods; on the twenty-second of the month of digging mustard greens (ཡུངས་བརྐོ་ཟླ་བ), it is said that offering one prostration is equivalent to a hundred billion prostrations. The three times of the Buddha's entry into the womb, renunciation, and enlightenment are all gathered together, so it is called the time of the gathering of the three times. On the fifteenth of the Bird Sound Month (བྱ་གྲག་ཟླ་བ), offering one prostration is equivalent to a hundred billion. namaḥ suśrīye। namo uttama śrīye svāhā।

It is said that in the pure land, all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas gather, turning the wheel of Dharma for the benefit of sentient beings, therefore the merit is great. This is the difference in time. As for individuals, one hundred trillion prostrations of ordinary people are equal to one prostration of a pure Brahmin. Brahmins are not in Tibet, but in India, they follow the religion of Brahma, do not eat meat, do not do any evil deeds, only do clean things, and offer sacrifices to Brahma. It is said that they are such a kind of people. One hundred thousand prostrations of Brahmins are equal to one prostration offered by a pure monk. One hundred prostrations of pure monks are equal to one prostration of a novice monk. One hundred prostrations of novice monks are equal to one prostration of a pure fully ordained monk, the merit is equal. One hundred trillion prostrations of pure fully ordained monks are equal to one prostration offered by a person who has realized the meaning of Mahamudra, the merit is equal. Therefore it is said: A thousand ordinary people, compared to one who keeps vows; a thousand who keep vows, compared to one who has wisdom. The Sutras, Tantras, and King Songtsen Gampo also said this. The difference in the way of offering is that offering for one's own benefit is not as meritorious as offering for the benefit of all sentient beings. Offering without faith and reverence is not as meritorious as offering with wholehearted faith. Offering distractedly is not as meritorious as offering without distraction, and visualizing the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas in front, offering wholeheartedly is more meritorious. Even better than that, offering without separation from the practice of Mahamudra is even more meritorious. The difference in mantras is that the Bhagavan spoke the dharani of prostration. Om Namo Manjushriye, Namah Sushriye, Namo Uttama Shriye Svaha. , Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ namo mañjuśrīye। namaḥ suśrīye। namo uttama śrīye svāhā।, Literal Chinese meaning: Om, Homage to Manjushri, Homage to the Auspicious, Homage to the Supreme Auspicious Svaha.) Reciting these mantras three times, and then making one prostration, becomes ten million prostrations. Compiled and published by the Nangchen (Nangchen County) Angang Craft Culture Sutra and Secret Mantra Dharma Increase Continent Ancient Book Restoration Room in the upper part of Kham. A concise and easy-to-understand summary of the benefits, rituals, and transformations of prostrations.
