Either meditate on yourself as the sole deity, or because it is said to be the supreme essence of non-duality, it is also acceptable to meditate on yourself as the ocean of victorious ones. From the tip of the rays of light from your own heart, the manifold mother is white, with two hands, the right holding a vase and the left holding a white lotus. Visualize her seated on a white elephant. Direct the tip of the light rays and send it to that place. With the vase in her hand, bathe the sick person, so that sickness and evil are cleansed and become like a crystal ball. Visualize many emanation goddesses with songs, raining down fire, illusions, and jewels, and uttering auspicious words. Oṃ phrem viśva mātṛ svāhā. (藏文) 嗡，比湿嚩，摩怛哩，娑嚩诃（梵文天城体：ॐ फ्रेम् विश्व मातरि स्वाहा），om phrem vishva matari svaha（梵文罗马拟音），Oṃ, Mother of the Universe, Svāhā. (汉语字面意思) phei nad dön sarva śāntiṃ kuru ye svāhā. With the rays of light emanating from your heart, invite White Tara from Potala and visualize her residing in the sky in front of the sick person. Pray in your mind to pacify the fears. From her body, nectar falls like a stream of milk, dissolving into the sick person, and visualize that sickness and evil are cleansed. Praise her for liberating from samsara, etc., or recite: Oṃ tāre tuttāre ture phei nad dön sarva śāntiṃ kuru ye svāhā. (藏文) 嗡，达咧，度达咧，度咧，佩，疾病鬼魅，萨尔瓦，香汤，咕噜，耶，梭哈（梵文音译）Finally, dissolve Tara into yourself. That liberation from sickness comes from meditating on one session is said to be experienced and proven by many Kadampa Geshes. Likewise, when oneself or others go to dangerous places such as water, cliffs, enemies, thieves, robbers, epidemics, conflicts, enemies on the road, etc., as above, visualize White Tara holding the mudra of refuge and giving, invite her to reside in the sky in that direction. In the mantra, transform whatever fear there is. In this way, she saves from all harm, as recorded in the Four Seats Tantra and the Hundred Thousand Praises of Tara.
