This milk and yogurt, like a surrounding ocean, this white butter, like a piled-up snow mountain, I offer it to so-and-so and their retinue. May all be pleased and satisfied. Kyi! These five precious grains are what the monkey bodhisattva requested before the Lord of the World. From the supreme place of Potala, the noble Avalokiteśvara scattered them in the land of snow, becoming nourishment for all sentient beings. These various precious grains, I offer them to so-and-so and their retinue. May all be pleased and satisfied. Kye! The silk of the gods, Pañcali, white, yellow, red, green, blue, and purple, pleasing, thin, and soft garments, of pure origin, coming from China and Mongolia, ornaments for humans and gods, dense like clouds, I offer them to so-and-so and their retinue. May all be pleased and satisfied. Kye! These five wisdom wool threads, the material comes from auspicious sheep, the colors are varied, dyed with colors, adorned with various auspicious branches at the top. When moved by the wind, like clouds of jewels, raining down what is needed and desired, I offer them to so-and-so and their retinue. May all be pleased and satisfied. Kye! This white torma, the ocean of nectar, possessing the five qualities of desire, like a snow mountain piled with tsampa, various auspicious branches and excellent foods, the smoke of burning is dense like clouds, blessed by mantras and mudras, I offer it to so-and-so and their retinue. May all be pleased and satisfied. According to each one's ability, grant me the accomplishment of actions. Be my support and friend. Proclaim my good name and spread my fame. This is a common offering to the local deities, which can be applied to any situation. Just replace "so-and-so" with the respective names.
