The arrangement of the Gyalwa Gyatso Nine Deities is as follows: The central main deity has two parts, the head and hands. The face has a pig's face on top. At its four corners are the four families of father and mother. The mothers have four hands. The first hand embraces the father, and the lower two hands hold the attributes. Directly below, four dakinis are arranged in a row. Three eyes, the face is neither peaceful nor wrathful. The feet are in a half-lotus position. Directly above the main deity's head, is the manifestation of the Buddha Padmasambhava, which is very vast. Red, without a mother. Like the ocean, the right hand holds a vajra, and the left hand holds a lotus. The lower two hands are in a prayer position. To his right is the sovereign Shakyamuni Buddha who speaks the tantras. To the left is the petitioner Avalokiteśvara. White Ishvara, like a white lamp. These three face directly. To his right is the form of Padmavajra, the Ugyen Pandit. The upper body is naked, wearing a pandit's hat, with a side face. To the left is someone like Jalandhara Tailopa. Below that, the main deity's head is illuminated by Maitripa on the right. He has a pandit's boat-shaped hat. On the left is the great accomplished Vajradhara Naropa. In the spaces between them, is the blissful land of dance. Slightly smaller bodies, beautiful faces, skilled in dancing. Form Vajra is white. Sound Vajra is yellow. Smell Vajra is blue. Taste Vajra is red. Touch Vajra is green, adorned with silk and jewels. Having arranged it in this way, the ritual of the nine deities, the body mandala, and the profound thoughts and lineages of the lotus tantra are complete.
