Entrustment for Protecting Horses from Loss. Entrustment for Protecting Horses from Loss. The entrustment for the activity of protecting horses from loss is: Namo Shakya Munaye. Victorious One, master of the ten powers. To the Victorious Shakyamuni, I go for refuge for the horses. I beseech you to protect them from all horse diseases. Great Bodhisattva who abides on the ground, to Jangshe Nyimai Nyingpo, I go for refuge for the horses. I beseech you to protect these horses. Great horse king Heruka, by the noble horse-headed king, may the obstacles of these horses be cleared away. Son of the sun, possessing splendor, noble Remanta, by you, protect these herds, and perform the activity of protecting, saving, and increasing them. Yaksha king Kubera, without forgetting your previous vows, for these herds of mine, do not neglect the protection, saving, and tending. Hero Vajrasattva, for your own riding horses and pack animals, do not neglect the tending, protection, and saving. Horse diseases, livestock diseases, and so on, the suffering of samsara, diseases, and evil spirits, are not truly established, but are emptiness itself. In the state of the great seal, free from elaboration, free from the extremes of arising, ceasing, and abiding, dissolve into the expanse of the one taste Dharmakaya. In the state of emptiness, lams se lam. In the state of unborn, tha la la. Whatever arises, its essence is empty. Thus, it is said when the harm of horse disease occurs. There, no harm or fault will occur, no matter what diseases of horses and livestock, hail, or other miracles occur. Thus, it was said by Raga Asya. May there be auspiciousness and warmth.
