Seated in the vajra posture, wearing three kinds of Dharma robes, with his two hands in the meditation mudra holding a bowl filled with the nectar of immortality. Adorned with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks, radiating light and rays. The nature of wisdom being and samaya being inseparable, manifestly clear. In front of him, the deceased, named specifically, wearing a spotless white cotton cloth, holding an eight-petaled white lotus in his hand, kneeling with palms joined, manifestly gazing at the face of the Bhagavan, and assisting in the dedication. May the Bhagavan, the Protector Amitabha, and all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and three times, with great compassion, remember those deceased ones, named specifically. To all the roots of virtue of the noble ones and ordinary beings, the supreme and holy lord of rejoicing, I rejoice. Thus, the root of virtue of rejoicing, and the root of virtue of offering, and all the roots of virtue accumulated by those deceased ones in the three times, all gathered together, I offer to the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas of the ten directions and three times, such as Buddha Amitabha. Based on such offering, may inconceivable offerings, like those arising from the aspiration of the Excellent Cloud of Offerings Practice, arise continuously in the three times. Based on that, may the precious teachings of the Buddha flourish and spread in all directions and times, and remain for a long time. May the life, activities, and enlightened activities of the holy individuals who uphold the teachings flourish and spread.

May it be accomplished! Before this root of virtue is exhausted, may I dedicate it entirely to all sentient beings as infinite as the sky. Having obtained as dedicated, may all sentient beings have happiness and be free from suffering. May they quickly attain the precious state of Buddhahood, which knows all aspects! May this root of virtue be gathered and summarized into one. Speaking from the name, may I follow and emulate them. Having followed, may this root of virtue ripen immediately in the minds of those who have passed away. Relying on such ripening, may all the sins, obscurations, misdeeds, and downfalls accumulated since beginningless time in samsara be purified. May the two accumulations of merit and wisdom increase and grow like the waxing moon. May they be liberated and freed from the four fearsome sounds of the bardo and the eight terrifying straits. May all the gateways to rebirth in the six realms of samsara be severed. May they be born in the western pure land of Sukhavati without being interrupted by other rebirths. As soon as they are born, may the lotus flower open and may they directly see the face of Buddha Amitabha. May they receive the teachings and obtain the prediction of supreme enlightenment. May all the qualities of the grounds and paths be completely perfected in that body, and may they attain complete and perfect enlightenment. Having become Buddhas, may the benefit of all sentient beings arise effortlessly and spontaneously. May the deceased not experience the suffering of the lower realms, Even without practicing austerities, May they obtain a body superior to the gods, May they quickly attain Buddhahood! Just as the lotus is not defiled by mud, May they not be defiled by the impurities of the three realms, Born from the lotus of existence, May they be born in Sukhavati! As soon as this impure body is abandoned, May they be miraculously born in Sukhavati! As soon as they are born, may they quickly traverse the ten bhumis, May they benefit others in the ten directions through emanations! By the truth of the Three Jewels, the blessings of all the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, the great power of the complete two accumulations, and the inconceivable power of the pure realm of Dharma, may it be thus accomplished!

Homage to the Three Jewels! Tadyatha. Pañcendriya ava bhayo dhana ye svaha. Thus, relying on the pure dedication and aspiration to expand, light emanated from the heart of the Bhagavan Amitabha. When it struck those who had passed away, they melted into light, and the witness of the dedication merged into the heart of Amitabha. He faced the west, and like a mighty archer shooting an arrow, they were reborn in the Sukhavati Pure Land. This was written by Karma Araga. May all beings who are connected to this dedication, and all sentient beings who see, hear, remember, and touch, be reborn in Sukhavati and directly behold the face of Amitabha.
