A prayer made when the ritual is turned back. A prayer made when the ritual is turned back. Namo Amitabhaye. (Tibetan: ན་མོ་ཨ་མི་ཏ་བྷ་ཡེ, Sanskrit Devanagari: नमो अमिताभये, Sanskrit Romanization: namo amitābhāye, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to immeasurable light). From here to the western world, after passing through hundreds of thousands of billions of kalpas, there is the pure Land of Bliss. There resides the Buddha Amitabha. The retinue is surrounded by limitless bodhisattvas and shravakas. The light and lifespan are both limitless. The qualities of the light cannot be described by anyone. May all deceased beings, starting with parents and all those connected, be born in the presence of Amitabha. There are no three lower realms, no asuras, and no eight states of no leisure. A pure land where even the sound is not heard. Adorned with fragrant flowers and fruits, and various precious trees. Emanated flocks of birds proclaim melodious sounds, and the perimeter is surrounded by strings of precious tala trees. Everything is covered with a golden net. Lotus seats made of jewels, ranging from half a yojana to ten yojanas in size. There are thirty-six thousand kotis of rays of light. At the tip of each ray of light is an emanation Buddha. The ground is level, adorned with various jewels. There is fragrant perfume water and various flowers. Various pleasant and delightful sounds are emitted and flow. There is no mud, but it is spread with golden sand. There is no unwholesomeness, obscuration, hunger, or suffering, not even the name is heard, and even if searched for, it cannot be found. Likewise, there is no pure equanimity of pleasure and pain. All times are always spent only in happiness. The reasons for happiness, if described in detail, cannot be exhausted even after countless kalpas. Therefore, it is widely known as the Land of Bliss. In that supreme place of the pure realm, may all deceased beings, starting with parents and all those connected, be born like a great archer shooting an arrow. Form and color, and immeasurable enjoyment, are like the gods of Paranirmita-vasavartin. May one obtain the supreme body of perfection. Incense, garlands, unguents, and clothing, as well as umbrellas, victory banners, pennants, and bells, etc., all desired enjoyments pervade the entire realm. Various clothes and various ornaments, all hang from precious trees. Precious palaces and precious thrones, and various cushions with pillows appear in front. Hundreds of thousands of goddesses play and make offerings. Every day, there is a rain of flowers.

Scattered widely. The fragrant wind fills his body. Touching, Body and mind generate immeasurable bliss. Day and night without interruption, illuminated by the Buddha's light. Fragrant water, flowers, and various jewels, And various offerings, raining down in due season. Umbrellas, banners, and fly-whisks held in the sky. Celestial dancers perform, playing various musical instruments. In that pure land filled with happiness and joy, May all connected deceased ones, led by their parents, Without interruption by other births, Be miraculously born from the lotus bud. As soon as they are born, may the lotus bloom, May they meet the protector, Amitabha Buddha. May the clouds of offerings manifested by miraculous power, Manifest immeasurably, offering to all the Buddhas. May the Bhagavan prophesy my enlightenment, May I attain the Joyful Ground in that instant. Names and marks, complete knowledge, and so on, By the power of miracles, to the Fly-whisk Mountain (Potala), Extreme Joy, And travel to many other pure lands, Offering to all those Buddhas, May I obtain the stable lineage of the teachings. Practicing the great Bodhisattva conduct, May I quickly attain unsurpassed enlightenment. May I eliminate untimely death in this life, May the immeasurable life bless my three doors, After I accomplish the activity of Amitabha, Leading connected ones to the Land of Great Bliss, May the activity of great compassion be accomplished.
