Lord of the Western Sukhavati, the Lotus-Adorned Realm, To the immortal Bhagavan, Infinite Light, I pray, grant blessings and accomplishments, Bless me to attain the primordial Buddha. Avalokiteshvara, Mahasthamaprapta, and so forth, Bodhisattvas, Shravakas, Pratyekabuddhas, Arhats, and retinue, I pray, grant blessings and accomplishments, Bless me to attain the primordial Buddha. Second Buddha, Lotus-Born Padmasambhava, Assembly of Vidyadharas and Siddhas, ocean-like, I pray, grant blessings and accomplishments, Bless me to attain the primordial Buddha. Unchanging Vajra, Karma Chakme, and so forth, Root and Lineage, glorious supreme Lamas, I pray, grant blessings and accomplishments, Bless me to attain the primordial Buddha. Various peaceful and wrathful manifestations, Revealing Yidams, ocean-like assembly, I pray, grant blessings and accomplishments, Bless me to attain the primordial Buddha. Ma, Gon, Lhamo, Drakpa, Lion-Faced, Father and Mother, and so forth, Dharma Protectors, oath-bound, ocean-like assembly, I pray, grant blessings and accomplishments, Bless me to attain the primordial Buddha. Through the blessings of praying in this way, May the two obscurations, diseases, and obstacles be pacified, May life, glory, wisdom, and light greatly increase, May I become a Buddha inseparable from Amitabha! This concise prayer of the Namchö Light Practice lineage was composed by the 14th Karmapa at the request of the monk Karma Chöden. May it be auspicious!
