Instructions and Teachings. Instructions and Teachings. Thereafter, from the tantra of instructions and teachings on the sadhana offerings of the Vajra Master, it is said: 'All sit in rows, teach the instructions.' Thus, it should be taught. O, listen, all you fortunate yogis and yoginis, brothers and sisters, gathered here, who view the mandala and the lamp as one! This secret mantra Vajrayana is the Dharma of fruition, therefore the commands are strict and it is endowed with samaya, so it is easy to practice. Furthermore, having entered such a mandala with great practice, the Vajra Master is the embodiment of all Buddhas, holding the chief position of all mandalas, and you brothers and sisters should regard yourselves as deities, male and female. The enjoyment of all desirable qualities should be regarded as the tsokhor. This supreme place should be believed to be the Akanishta realm, the pure land of the Buddhas. This dwelling should also be known as the palace of the five precious wisdoms, vast and perfect. Whatever conduct, bodily actions, or speech you may see, know it as the unceasing play of wisdom, the self-power of the unborn Dharmakaya. In short, whatever appears, do not stray from the play of mantra. Do not stray from the play of emptiness and dharmata. Abandon all ordinary illusions, unprophesied evil thoughts, and impure thoughts. There are many demons and obstacles seeking opportunities. Do not be lazy when about to attain accomplishment. The master and the retinue should generate the perception of being like a father, and with loving compassion, teach well those who do not know. The brothers and sisters should regard the master as a jewel on the crown of their heads, accomplish whatever is said, and make body, speech, and mind accord with the Dharma. The brothers, sisters, and siblings should be happy, loving, and harmonious; there should be no internal strife, no partiality, no favoritism, no sarcasm, no competition, no wrong views, no jealousy, no secret undermining, no evil thoughts, no fighting. In short, do not do any actions that are not in accordance with the Dharma and that violate samaya. The vidyadharas should also abandon love and hatred, association, and hellish thoughts; they should abandon self-satisfaction, attachment, miserliness, and jealousy, and should comply with whatever is pleasing and agreeable.

Please fulfill these. Furthermore, do not interrupt the sound of recitation. Alcohol, sleep, laziness, moderation, idle talk, illusions, separate understandings, and evil thoughts are obstacles to achieving enlightenment. Do not let them control you, but strive to practice day and night without interruption. Even a moment is a time to practice the deity's ritual, so strive diligently. Those who are diligent, persevering, and have great faith will attain accomplishments and fulfillment, so make an effort. In India, there is the practice of accumulating merit in groups, and in Tibet, all those who practice great rituals and empowerments are subdued, both profound and swift. Great blessings and accomplishments, in one mandala, many retinues transform into one, accomplishing one Buddha. The four empowerments are bestowed in one sitting, maturation and liberation are simultaneously attained, and the state of the thirteen Vajradharas is obtained, like the powerful King Indrabodhi, without abandoning samsara, the practice and Dharma of attaining Buddhahood in an instant. With body, speech, and mind, exert the power of faith and whip yourself with the iron whip of diligence. Generate perseverance and courage. It is difficult to encounter such a profound empowerment practice at any time. Now, make an effort from the depths of your heart. If anyone violates the instructions of my compassionate heart, it is because they have not accumulated merit, have no fortune, are controlled by demons, and cannot attain accomplishments, so restrain your body, speech, and mind. Listening to the compassionate words of the teacher and the teachings of the Sugata Buddhas will benefit both this life and the next. Keep unfailing mindfulness in mind. This should be emphasized again and again. The tantra says that the request to offer the mandala is to circumambulate the mandala and open the four doors. Mangalam! History of the teachings of Peaceful and Wrathful Ones, Self-Liberation of Intentions. Instructions on Precepts.
