The biography of Vajradhara. The biography of Vajradhara. In the land of snow, those who uphold the essential teachings are known as the Kagyu lineage, which includes a compilation of the biographies of the accomplished masters of the Karma Kamtsang lineage, known as the Golden Rosary, along with a history of the early translations of scriptures and terma. Namo Guru Vajradharaye. Sanskrit Romanization: Namo guru vajradhārāye, Literal Chinese meaning: Homage to the Guru Vajradhara) The source of all secret mantra teachings is the Lord of the six realms, the glorious Vajradhara. His abode is the supreme city of liberation, the delightful Dharmadhatu, the source of Dharma. His father is Kali, the supreme of skillful means, and his mother is Ali, the wisdom of emptiness. This is the primordial protector, the supreme co-emergent. His actions are inconceivable, in a state of supreme peace, emptiness, and indestructibility. He possesses the five certainties and the complete enjoyment body, benefiting sentient beings with emanations equal to their number. Time is the three times, always present. He is endowed with names, marks, qualities, and everything. However, due to the difference between conceptualization and non-conceptualization, pure and impure appearances arise in the relative sense. In reality, the basis of pure and impure does not exist. For those with cataracts, hairs, flies, etc., appear, but they do not exist in reality. Similarly, all realizations of pure and impure are completely pure from the beginning. Therefore, all phenomena of samsara and nirvana are the Bhagavan, the great bliss. The co-emergent Vajradhara is great, the oneness and the great bindu. When Vajradhara appears as the Sambhogakaya, he manifests Hevajra, Chakrasamvara, Guhyasamaja, Mayajala, etc. To propagate his teachings, Tilopa, Naropa, Marpa, Milarepa, Gampopa, and the Karmapas, all appear simultaneously in various forms, but their essence is one. However, most beings who do not understand this think that the Kagyu lineage masters, the former ones are superior, and the later ones gradually decline. Although the tantras are different and the deities are different, appearing in many forms, their essence is indivisible and one. Although the essence is one, it appears as many different ones. Therefore, the Guru Bhagavan Vajradhara, from the co-emergent great bliss single bindu, appears as the Bhagavan of the Dharmakaya, Sambhogakaya, and Nirmanakaya. These are of one taste in the great bindu. Among them, the tantras spoken by the Sambhogakaya, again

Manifesting as an emanation, it was spoken. That very Bhagavan Great Bindu is the Sambhogakaya Vajradhara, appearing in various faces and hands, and is called Vajradhara who is considered as symbolic. This is the self-nature of great bliss, like the moon in water. Inferior ones do not see it, but seeing the twelve deeds, etc., is called the symbolic emanation. The true meaning is unbiased, the innate wisdom, the body and mind are originally the nature of the Buddha, hence it is famously called the Vajradhara of the Base. When practicing the profound instructions of union, it is named the Vajradhara of the Path. When innate wisdom manifests, it is universally known as the Vajradhara of the Fruit. By striving in the profound key points of skillful means, in one instant, or in six months, or in three years and three directions, or even in one lifetime, the unsurpassed path is practiced in order to manifest the fruit. All dharmas are Vajradhara, but the Vajradhara is held as supreme by the fruit. Existence and non-existence, good and bad, acceptance and rejection, superior and inferior, etc., all are self-liberated, originally pure, inconceivable, and are the mandala of the Victorious Ones. The meaning of the vast and unsurpassed tantras, which transcends the realm of ordinary conceptual minds, is extremely secret, hidden by Vajradhara. Although it is not appropriate for a child like me to write, it was spoken by the power of the yogic sovereign, the Dakini. From the power of the lineage, a slight understanding arose. Therefore, in a concise, meaningful, and easy-to-understand way, as a support for faith, it was written in one sitting. May the mistakes, contradictions, misunderstandings, and confusions in this writing be sincerely confessed to the lords of secrets. May all mother sentient beings, through the virtue of this writing, thoroughly realize the great Vajradhara of the Base, quickly enter the great Vajradhara of the Path, and may the great Vajradhara of the Fruit be manifested! This was composed by Karma Araga. Mangalam. The biography of Vajradhara.
