First, a brief explanation by way of connection. First, a brief explanation by way of connection. First, if, because the cause is closely attributed to the result in the fifth stage, abandonment obtains the name of "complete knowledge." Also, as an antidote to abandonment: Those ten and seven, seven eights, except for three or two views, suffering and so on in desire, are gradually abandoned by seeing. The four are what should be abandoned by meditation. Thus, from seeing the truth and meditating on the meaning of seeing, the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing and meditation are abandoned or abandoned. So, are those antidotes, the paths of seeing and meditation, contaminated or uncontaminated? The path of meditation is of two kinds, contaminated and uncontaminated, because the worldly path of meditation, the contaminated concentration of the formless realm, will increase defilements, and the transcendental path of meditation, which has the aspect of truth, does not increase defilements when practicing the meaning of seeing the truth. The so-called path of seeing is entirely uncontaminated, because it is the antidote to the three realms (to be abandoned by seeing), and because the great of the great to be abandoned by seeing and so on are abandoned all at once, (because it is uncontaminated). Because worldly people do not have such power. (What is to be abandoned by meditation is not abandoned all at once because what is taught has a basis. There are many differences between seeing and meditation. In terms of essence, one is only uncontaminated, and the other is both contaminated and uncontaminated. In terms of object, one focuses on the four truths, and the other focuses on both the upper and lower realms. In terms of aspects, one is the truth and the field. In terms of the difference in essence, one is both forbearance and wisdom, and the other is only wisdom. In terms of the way of abandoning what is to be abandoned, one abandons all at once by knowing the object, and the other abandons gradually by familiarizing oneself with the antidote. In terms of the basis, one is the desire realm and the three realms, and in terms of the continuum, one is only the noble one, and the other is both the born ordinary and the born noble. In terms of the way of arising, one arises from one seat, and the other arises in other lives as well.) First, a brief explanation by way of connection.
