Yoga of Phowa. Yoga of Phowa. Here begins the Yoga of Phowa. Namo Ashobhya (Tibetan). Here, for the benefit of others, a Yoga of Phowa will be written. That is, as Je Gendun Gyatso, Panchen Rinpoche, and others have taught many Phowas combined with the yogas of their root gurus and Vajrabhairava, Maitreya, etc. Similarly, a Phowa combined with the yoga of the Akshobhya guru is also considered very suitable, and therefore will be spoken of in this way. That is, it will be explained in terms of two methods: self-training and planting. The first is: first, send forth refuge, etc. On the crown of one's head, on a lotus and moon cushion on a lion throne, is Victorious Akshobhya, with a blue body, one face, two arms, the right hand in the earth-touching mudra, and the left hand in the meditation mudra, holding a five-pronged vajra. Adorned with silk garments and various precious ornaments, seated in the vajra posture. On the crown of the head, from Om (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: ओ, Sanskrit Romanization: oṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Om) to Hum (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: हुं, Sanskrit Romanization: hūṃ, Chinese literal meaning: Hum), rays of light emanate. Invite Victorious Akshobhya as the Buddhas, etc. Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ (Tibetan, Sanskrit Devanagari: जः हुं बं होः, Sanskrit Romanization: jaḥ hūṃ baṃ hoḥ, Chinese literal meaning: Jaḥ Hūṃ Baṃ Hoḥ) become inseparable. Again, adorned with Vajrasattva as a head ornament. I prostrate to Victorious Akshobhya, the essence of the gathering of all refuge places! I offer! I take refuge! Recite this seven times or more. In detail, perform the seven-limb practice. Then, change "I prostrate" to "I pray," and recite it many times. Visualize the central channel, the inner channel in the straight line of one's body, as thick as an arrow shaft, with the lower end inserted below the navel and the upper end inserted into the Brahma aperture. At the heart center, visualize the essence of one's consciousness as a white bindu the size of a mustard seed, shining and luminous, with the nature of light. After the previous prayer, add "Please bless me to master the profound path of Phowa," and recite as much as possible. Finally, pray in this way, and from the heart center, a ray of light like an iron hook extends straight and enters one's Brahma aperture. Visualize it piercing into one's mind, which is clear as a bindu. At the same time, draw the lower wind upwards and say "Hi-ka (Tibetan)," and the bindu moves upwards through the central channel, touches the Brahma aperture slightly, and then falls back down. Repeat this alternately for seven days to three days, etc.

Through practice, signs arise. Finally, contemplate being blessed by dissolving into oneself. Secondly, at the time of one's own death, the supplication and so forth are done as before, and at the end, add: "Please grant the blessing to be born in the Pure Land of Manifest Joy." After reciting this many times, recite: ཧི་ཀ་ཕཊ། (Tibetan, Devanagari, Romanized Sanskrit hi ka phaṭ, Literal Chinese meaning: Hei Ka Phat). By reciting this, the essence of consciousness, the bindu, is projected upwards from the central channel and emerges from the Brahma aperture. By dissolving into the heart of the Victorious One, one then goes to the Pure Land of Manifest Joy. Consciousness emerges again from the heart, and one should contemplate being born in that Pure Land, according to the circumstances, whether it is a lot or a little. This passage is also composed by one named "Speaker-Practitioner" as a branch of both the pure land arrangement and aspiration prayers.
