Aspiration Prayer of the Biography. Aspiration Prayer of the Biography. Herein is the Aspiration Prayer of the Biography. Namo Manjushri Ghoshaya. The fully enlightened Buddha who has perfected both aims, the sacred Dharma of cessation and path inseparable from the two truths, the Sangha who practice the union of the two accumulations, I pray to the Three Jewels, the objects of refuge. Through the power of discriminating wisdom from hearing many scriptures, the teachings of Sutra and Tantra, scriptural and experiential, of Lozang Drakpa are revealed. I beseech the feet of the holy spiritual friend who upholds them through teaching and practice. Through the power of well-practiced merit accumulated in the past, even in youth, having obtained the leisure and fortune of a human body, without much effort, reading, writing, and reciting, etc., I became proficient in everything. Having taken many monastic vows in the doctrine, thinking of becoming a wise and intelligent scholar, as urged by some great lamas who are experts in characteristics, the desire to go to Central Tibet arose. At that time, with the permission of my parents, relying on a good friend, I went to Central Tibet and entered a monastic college. Day and night, with intense effort, I studied many scriptures. In the center of the great assembly of the Sera monastery, several times during the gatherings for the Middle Way, Vinaya, and Treasury of Knowledge, through debate, scripture, and reasoning, I subdued the opponents. After studying in the monastery for ten years, the lama himself, pleased, gave me the name of Lhasa, and as he said, even if all the scholars rained down a torrent of reasoning, I would answer without hesitation. Having studied grammar, poetry, phonetics, astrology, and many scriptures, in Gyuto, Ganden, and Drepung, I made excellent vows on the Sutra and Tantra teachings, pleasing all the scholars. Having closely attended the lotus feet of many spiritual friends, I drank the nectar of empowerments, transmissions, and instructions. Having entered the Tantric college, in the aspects of Tantra, I engaged in listening, contemplation, and meditation. Due to the power of karma, attachment, and aspiration, I returned to my homeland, and engaged in listening and contemplation on many scriptures, and recited the entire Kangyur once, increasing my intelligence. Connected by pure and well-practiced aspirations, I newly established the teaching and practice lama position in this region. Appointed by the official, I initially benefited the monastic community many times. At that time, unshaken by the winds of wrong views, together with the feet of Kou Shi, teaching and practicing, and in agreement on the matter of building new monastic houses, I certainly accomplished many benefits. However

Those who are not impartial, and in whose ungrateful minds, however, they have benefited the lineage of the teachings here, may all be pleased. In his own monastery, he was appointed Khenpo twice, and in the newly established lineage, when he became a Khenpo, he made the teaching and practice of Guhyasamaja and others flourish. He gave empowerments and transmitted lineages to many faithful people, and for the sake of the long-lasting existence of the teachings, he wrote more than ten commentaries on sutras and tantras. Although he did not attain high levels of realization due to the influence of the times and the power of coarse conceptualizations, he diligently engaged in recitation and virtuous deeds day and night. However, he always strives for the view, bears the burden of the Mount Meru of altruism and compassion, and vows to never abandon it until enlightenment. Although he strives in the yoga of Avalokiteśvara and other deities, as well as Guhyasamaja, even if the attainment of realization is still far away, he prays for blessings to enter. I pray that the power of the refuge, the lama, the Three Jewels, the yidam deity, the heroes and dakinis, the Dharma protectors, and the power of infallible dependent arising, faith, and devotion, may all the gurus remain steadfast for hundreds of kalpas. Even saying lifetime after lifetime, etc., is not contradictory. This was written in response to the earnest request of the faithful and wise hermit of Guryak, the monk Jamyang Tsondru, who said that such a biography and prayer was needed, by Shakya Bhikshu Shedrup, who did it as a debt without refusing. May there be auspiciousness! A Biography and Prayer
