The Third Be'uruwa. The Third Be'uruwa. The Third Be'uruwa was a follower of Drogon Tishri Repa. Known as Tsa Rongba Sherab Dorje, his clan was Bamri Zipa. He was born as the son of Be'uru Chodrak in Pabon Gurkar of Do Med, hence he was known as Gurkarwa. From a young age, he served before Ti Repa. He was ordained as a novice monk and named Sherab Dorje. He severed the doubts about the outer, inner, and secret teachings. Although there was a combined name of "Ra and Gur," later, due to a severe case of dropsy, he thought the root of the illness was in Kham, so he intended to go to U-Tsang. On the way, he went to Guru Ke Nang, where Repa Karpo dissuaded him, saying, "This illness of mine cannot be cured in this area unless the incarnate lama himself is here. That is why I thought of going to U-Tsang for a while to see if it could be cured." Repa Karpo said, "Even if the precious lama is not here, I possess profound instructions, so it will not be difficult to cure this." Then he had him sit on a white cushion, performed many auspicious ceremonies and blessings, and showed him the practice of trulkhor. By practicing trulkhor, all the dropsy flowed out of his pores, appearing bluish-green, and he was immediately cured of the illness. After that, he went to Kumbum Monastery, developed immeasurable faith in his Dharma friends, and thoroughly learned all the instructions again, regarding him as his root guru and relying on him. Having attained accomplishment, he passed away at that monastery. His lineage of disciples included Arong Sangye Yeshe, who practiced in the retreat of Be'uri Kar Chok, and actually attained the status of the Lord of Assemblies. The lineage of disciples included Sherab Drub and Rinchen Lu, among others. They were all undisputed mantra practitioners who obtained power, and from then on, the successive lineages were known as the mantra practitioners of Nangchenpa. Later, there were the Be'uru Monastery of Yu and the Lachen Chung of Palkha, which became Sakya, and it is said that there are still nephews of Be'uru to this day. This is the account of Be'uru. The Third Be'uruwa.
