༈ The second, Götsangpa. ༈ The second, Götsangpa. The second Götsangpa was: He was the secret, master of the Bodyless Vajra, the holder of the Great Seal lineage, Nguldzongpa Shakya Dorje. His lineage was Raksha, and he went to the scholar Jangchub Dorje, who resided in Mongsera Nar, and listened to many outer, inner, and secret teachings. In particular, after hearing the fame of the Bodyless Vajra, he met the Bodyless Vajra at Kumbum Monastery and took ordination. He was given the name Shakya Dorje. After fully listening to all the empowerments and instructions, he made a hermitage there and meditated, giving rise to realization that was indistinguishable between day and night. He was known as the holder of the Great Seal lineage. After that, he did not build monasteries with owners, but relied on coarse cloth, vowing to travel in the mountains for practice, and then left. In the upper parts of the Yarlungpa nomads and Gyawa, he uncertainly carried out altruistic activities and nurtured those to be tamed. Eventually, in Duntun, he passed away in upper Gyawa, and when cremated, five-colored relics appeared, and for about a month, rainbows and showers of flowers fell. Although there were countless disciples, the nephew Tsultrim Gyaltsen resided there. In a place called Götsangkha between Yilung and Damlung, practitioners resided there, engaging in practice and altruistic activities, hence the name Götsangpa. Later, he was invited to Gomde Monastery, and altruistic activities greatly expanded in Lhadok Zanang and other places. Eventually, he passed away at Götsangkha. Many disciples such as Kunga Lodro emerged. The throne holders were the nephews Yönten Sangpo and Kunga Sangpo, and the nephew lineage was successively held by Tsultrim Sangpo and others, and it seems to have continued until later. This is the story of Götsangpa. The second, Götsangpa.
