金刚顶等。 金刚顶等。 ༈ 金刚顶中说：佛陀、佛法与僧伽，上师是第四宝。桑扎哈中说：上师与诸佛平等。《密集》中说：胜过百千劫的佛陀，应当了知上师更为重要。为何百千劫的佛陀，皆依赖于上师而生？觉沃杰说：佛陀真实现世时，上师是第四皈依境。佛陀涅槃后，当有清净眷属时，上师与佛平等。现在上师胜过佛陀。因为一切佛陀皆是心髓的凝聚，所以上师胜过三宝。在五浊恶世，即时间、烦恼、见解、寿命、享受的浊世中，上师是救护者，因此上师胜过三宝。因为上师能直接展示菩提道，所以上师胜过三宝。时轮金刚中说：对于功德如海的上师，若以清净之心令其欢喜，殊胜与共同的成就，必定在此生获得。《密集》中说：若对上师有恭敬，成就必定无疑。据说，将上师的语录写成文字，与书写《甘珠尔》具有同等功德。桑吉热钦说：我向蒙古、米亚、霍尔、索格、藏、卫藏康三区，所有眼睛能见到的众生，都灌输了佛法。你们若能讲述佛法，哪怕对一个人有益，那也对许多众生有益。提希日桑吉热钦的论著，虽然所作的教言不可估量，但为了少数有缘者，在古本仁波切的寺院里，为了取出所发现的教言，为了少数有缘者生起信心，为了书写、为他人讲述和自己修持等等，生起菩提心后，我希拉格尔底在觉沃的静修地吉桑的寂静处，将这些教言很好地汇集在一起。愿以此信心、书写、听闻和讲述的善行，使具足虔诚者得以成熟和解脱！ 金刚顶等。

Vajra Peak and so forth. Vajra Peak and so forth. ༈ From the Vajra Peak: Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha, the Lama is the fourth. From the Sangtraha: The Lama is equal to all Buddhas. From the Gongdü: The teacher should be known as more important than a hundred thousand Buddhas of kalpas. Why do all the Buddhas of kalpas arise relying on the Lama? Jowo Je said: When the Buddha is actually present, the Lama is the fourth refuge. After the Buddha's passing, when there are pure followers, they are equal. Now, the Lama is greater than the Buddha. Because all Buddhas are the condensed essence of mind, the Lama is greater than the Three Jewels. In the time of the five degenerations—time, afflictions, views, lifespan, and enjoyment—the Lama is the protector, so the Lama is greater than the Three Jewels. Because the Lama directly shows the path to enlightenment, the Lama is greater than the Three Jewels. From the Kalachakra: If you please the Lama, who is an ocean of qualities, with a pure mind, you will surely attain supreme and common siddhis in this life. From the Guhyasamaja: If you have respect for the Lama, there is no doubt that you will achieve it. It is said that writing the Lama's collected works is equal in merit to writing the Kanjur. Sangye Rechen said: I have poured Dharma into the ears of all beings I have seen in Gu, Minyak, Hor, Mongol, Tibet, and the three regions of U-Tsang and Kham. If you share the Dharma and it benefits even one person, it will benefit many beings. The teachings of Tishri Sangye Rechen, although the instructions he gave are immeasurable, for the sake of a few fortunate ones, in this very seat of Kumbum Monastery, to extract the teachings that have been found, for the sake of a few fortunate ones to generate faith, for the sake of writing, explaining to others, and practicing oneself, etc., having generated bodhicitta, I, Shila Ghirti, have well compiled these teachings in one place in the secluded Kil Sna hermitage of Jowo's retreat. May all who possess faith, writing, listening, and teaching, through this virtue, ripen and be liberated! Vajra Peak and so forth.
