Identifying the Movement of Wind: ༈ Identifying the Movement of Wind: In brief, it is the wind of the five elements. Its location is from the heart chakra, the Dharma wheel; its movement is from the navel chakra, the Nirmāṇakāya wheel. From the east of the navel arises the water wind, white in color, located on the right side of the heart, behind the throat, in front of the great bliss, fourteen fingers upward from the nose, sixteen fingers inward, moving among nine hundred winds. When the north of the navel shifts, the wind of wind, greenish-yellow, is located on the south side of the heart, in front of the throat, behind the crown of the head, between the nostrils, moving attached to the flesh. When the west of the navel shifts, the fire wind, red in color, is located on the east side of the heart, on the right of the throat, on the left of the crown of the head, moving from the nose attached to the cheeks. When the south of the navel shifts, the earth wind, yellow in color, is located on the north side of the heart, on the left of the throat, on the right of the crown of the head, moving downward from the nose. When the center shifts, the sky wind, blue in color, is attached to the central axis of the four chakras, moving straight from the nose. All of these are fourteen fingers outward, sixteen fingers inward. In number, all winds are equal, each having nine hundred. Thus, in the navel, the Nirmāṇakāya wheel, five times nine hundred winds move, and when they shift to the heart chakra, the Dharma wheel, they move in the Avadhūti. There are five times of faults and one time of merit. The signs of moving there are confusion of consciousness, or a buzzing sound from the ears, or during ordinary absorption, the wind moves in the Avadhūti, as well as moving at the time of death, moving during fainting, moving while in the mother's womb, and moving at the time of death, totaling five. These cause short life, many diseases, aging, and decline, which are times of faults. Gathering the wind in the Dhūti during meditation is a time of merit, which increases samādhi, makes one youthful, reduces white hair and wrinkles, and generates wisdom. As mentioned before, there are five times nine hundred winds in the heart, shifting to the throat there are five times nine hundred winds, shifting to the crown of the head there are five times nine hundred winds, these total twenty times nine hundred winds. Thus, shifting to the navel and spreading in four directions, there are nine hundred winds.

Four thousand. There are nine hundred and twenty-four breaths in one day and night. Therefore, there are twenty-one thousand six hundred breaths in one day and night. This is the calculation of the winds of the five elements. The letters that generate samsara are the seeds of the six realms, located at the place where the first body is formed, which is the navel chakra, the petals of the emanation wheel, and the cause of samsara, in the form of A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A), Nri (Tibetan: ནྲི, Devanagari: णृ, Romanized Sanskrit: nri, Literal meaning: Nri), Su (Tibetan: སུ, Devanagari: सु, Romanized Sanskrit: su, Literal meaning: Su), Tri (Tibetan: ཏྲི, Devanagari: तृ, Romanized Sanskrit: tri, Literal meaning: Tri), Pre (Tibetan: པྲེ, Devanagari: प्रे, Romanized Sanskrit: pre, Literal meaning: Pre), and Duhkha (Tibetan: དུཿ, Devanagari: दुःख, Romanized Sanskrit: duhkha, Literal meaning: Duhkha). When they exist in this way, driven by desire and attachment, actions and so on are: the seed of the gods, A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A), has the habit of pride; the seed of humans, Nri (Tibetan: ནྲི, Devanagari: णृ, Romanized Sanskrit: nri, Literal meaning: Nri), has the habit of desire; the seed of the asuras, Su (Tibetan: སུ, Devanagari: सु, Romanized Sanskrit: su, Literal meaning: Su), has the habit of jealousy; the seed of the pretas, Pre (Tibetan: པྲེ, Devanagari: प्रे, Romanized Sanskrit: pre, Literal meaning: Pre), has the habit of stinginess; the seed of animals, Tri (Tibetan: ཏྲི, Devanagari: तृ, Romanized Sanskrit: tri, Literal meaning: Tri), has the habit of ignorance; and the seed of hell beings, Duhkha (Tibetan: དུཿ, Devanagari: दुःख, Romanized Sanskrit: duhkha, Literal meaning: Duhkha), has the habit of hatred. From these habits, accumulation occurs, becoming the cause and condition of samsara. Enlightenment and Nirvana are: At the root of these letters that need to be purified, the seeds of the six realms, samsara and nirvana have been inseparable from the beginning. Therefore, the object of purification, the nature of nirvana, the seeds of the five families reside in: the nature of desire, at the root of A (Tibetan: ཨ, Devanagari: अ, Romanized Sanskrit: a, Literal meaning: A), the nature of desire being completely purified, the seed of Amitabha, Hrih (Tibetan: ཧྲཱིཿ, Devanagari: ह्रीः, Romanized Sanskrit: hrīḥ, Literal meaning: Hrih); the nature of jealousy, at the root of Na (Tibetan: ཎ, Devanagari: ण, Romanized Sanskrit: ṇa, Literal meaning: Na), the nature of jealousy being completely purified, the seed of Amoghasiddhi, Ah (Tibetan: ཨཱ, Devanagari: आ, Romanized Sanskrit: ā, Literal meaning: Ah); the nature of pride, Su (Tibetan: སུ, Devanagari: सु, Romanized Sanskrit: su, Literal meaning: Su); between the nature of stinginess, Pre (Tibetan: པྲེ, Devanagari: प्रे, Romanized Sanskrit: pre, Literal meaning: Pre), and the nature of pride and stinginess being completely purified, the seed of Ratnasambhava, Tram (Tibetan: ཏྲྃཿ, Devanagari: त्रं, Romanized Sanskrit: traṃ, Literal meaning: Tram); the nature of ignorance, at the root of Tri (Tibetan: ཏྲི, Devanagari: तृ, Romanized Sanskrit: tri, Literal meaning: Tri), the nature of ignorance being completely purified, the nature of Vairochana, the seed Om (Tibetan: ཨོཾ, Devanagari: ओं, Romanized Sanskrit: oṃ, Literal meaning: Om); the nature of hatred, at the root of Duhkha (Tibetan: དུཿ, Devanagari: दुःख, Romanized Sanskrit: duhkha, Literal meaning: Duhkha), the nature of hatred being completely purified, the seed of Akshobhya, Hum (Tibetan: ཧཱུྃ་, Devanagari: हुं, Romanized Sanskrit: hūṃ, Literal meaning: Hum). These five are the letters of nirvana. If one knows their nature, they are the nature of the five wisdoms and the five families' Sambhogakaya. Next is identifying the movement of the winds.
