When the Blessed One, venerable sir, was dwelling in Rājagaha, the four Great Kings, having placed guards in the four directions, having placed garrisons in the four directions, having placed screens in the four directions, the entire Having illuminated Vulture Peak Mountain, they approached the Blessed One. Having approached, they saluted the Blessed One and sat down to one side. Seated to one side, Venerable Sir, King Vessavaṇa reported the Āṭānāṭiya protection to the Blessed One for the comfortable dwelling of monks, nuns, male lay followers, and female lay followers.
