With the divine eye, one sees form, with the divine ear-element, one hears sound. By mind-penetrating knowledge, one knows the mind of one with non-mind-originated mind, the sphere of infinite space... (and so on) ... the sphere of nothingness... (and so on) ... the form-base to eye-consciousness... (and so on) ... the tangible-base... (and so on) ... the non-mind-originated aggregates, to the knowledge of psychic powers, to the knowledge of penetrating minds, to the knowledge of past lives, to the knowledge of future events, to adverting, by object condition they are a condition. Conascence predominance – mind-originated predominance is a condition for associated aggregates and for mind-originated material phenomena by way of predominance condition. Mind-originated phenomena are conditioned by mind-originated phenomena by way of the condition of contiguity… three (there is no emergence). Non-mind-originated phenomena are conditioned by non-mind-originated phenomena by way of the condition of contiguity: the former mind to the latter mind… …for one emerging from cessation, the sphere of neither perception nor non-perception is conditioned by the fruit attainment by way of the condition of contiguity (the other two are enumerations, they should be made similar to this). Mind-originated phenomena and non-mind-originated phenomena are conditioned by mind-originated phenomena by way of the condition of contiguity (three should be made, there is no emergence)… by way of the condition of immediate contiguity. (1) Non-mind-originated phenomena are conditioned by mind-originated phenomena by way of the condition of decisive support: object decisive support, contiguity decisive support, natural decisive support… Natural decisive support – climate… food… lodging… mind relying on gives alms... ...breaks the Saṅgha; climate... food... lodging... mind... with faith... ...is a condition by way of decisive support for the attainment of the fruit of the path. (2) A non-mind-originated phenomenon is a condition by way of decisive support for mind-originated and non-mind-originated phenomena – object decisive support, contiguity decisive support, natural decisive support... Natural decisive support – relying on climate... food... lodging... mind... gives alms... ...breaks the Saṅgha; climate... food... lodging... mind... is a condition by way of decisive support for mind-originated aggregates and for mind. (3) Mind-originated and non-mind-originated phenomena are conditions by way of decisive support for mind-originated phenomena – object decisive support, contiguity decisive support, natural decisive support... Natural decisive support... (three types). Pre-nascent Condition 217. A mind-originated phenomenon is a condition by way of pre-nascent condition for a mind-originated phenomenon. The form-base is a condition for eye-consciousness and associated aggregates by way of pre-arising condition…etc… the tangible-base…etc…. (3) 218. A non-mind-originated phenomenon is a condition for a non-mind-originated phenomenon by way of pre-arising condition – pre-arising object, pre-arising base. Pre-arising object – eye…etc…body, in forms…etc…tangibles, base, as impermanent…etc… based on that, mind arises. With divine eye one sees form, with divine ear-element one hears sound.
