Internal aggregates are a condition for the knowledge of psychic power, for the knowledge of recollection of past lives, for the knowledge of passing away and reappearance according to karma, for the knowledge of future events, for advertence, by way of object condition. (1) Internal phenomenon is a condition for external phenomenon by way of object condition – another person is internal… hand, eye… object… one discerns the internal aggregates as impermanent, as suffering, as not-self, one relishes, one delights in them, concerning that, lust arises… displeasure arises. With the divine eye, one sees forms, with the divine ear-element, one hears sounds. With the knowledge of penetrating minds, one knows the mind of one endowed with an internal mind. The internal form-base is a condition by way of object-condition for external eye-consciousness… the internal tangible-base is a condition by way of object-condition for external body-consciousness. The internal aggregates are a condition by way of object-condition for the knowledge of psychic powers, for the knowledge of penetrating minds, for the knowledge of recollection of past lives, for the knowledge of the passing away and reappearance of beings according to their kamma, for the knowledge of future events, for advertence. An external phenomenon is a condition for an external phenomenon by way of object-condition – another, having given a gift, having undertaken precepts, having performed the Uposatha observance, reviews that, reviews good deeds done previously, having emerged from jhana… having emerged from the noble path, they review the path, they review the fruit… they review Nibbana. Nibbana is a condition by way of object-condition for change-of-lineage, for purification, for the path, for the fruit, for advertence.
