(B) Or again, for whom or where the life faculty will arise, did the eye faculty arise there? For the non-percipient beings and the formless beings, the life faculty will arise there for them, but the eye faculty did not arise there for them. For the beings in the five-constituent realms, the life faculty will arise there for them, and the eye faculty arose there for them. (A) For whom or where the eye faculty arose, will the joy faculty arise there? For those with a final existence in the five-constituent realms, and for those who, possessing eyes, will be reborn with equanimity and attain Nibbana, the eye faculty arose there for them, but the joy faculty will not arise there for them. For those with a final existence in the five-constituent realms, and for those who, possessing eyes, will be reborn with joy and attain Nibbana, the eye faculty arose there for them, but the equanimity faculty will not arise there for them.
