Those who, having the eye faculty, will be reborn with equanimity and attain final Nibbāna, for them there the eye faculty will arise, but for them there the joy faculty will not arise. For others, those with five aggregates, for them there the eye faculty will arise and the joy faculty will arise. (Kha) Or for whom, or where, the joy faculty will arise, for them there will the eye faculty arise? Yes. (Ka) For whom, or where, the eye faculty will arise, for them there If the eye faculty will arise for someone there, will the equanimity faculty arise for them there? Those who have the eye, are reborn with joy, and attain final Nibbāna, for them there the eye faculty will arise, but for them there the equanimity faculty will not arise. For others in the five-constituent existence, for them there the eye faculty will arise, and the equanimity faculty will arise. (Kha) Or again, if for someone there the equanimity faculty will arise, will for them there the eye faculty arise? For those in the formless realms, for them there the equanimity faculty will arise, but for them there the eye faculty will not arise. For those in the five-constituent existence, for them there the equanimity faculty will arise, and the eye faculty will arise. If for someone there the eye faculty will arise, will for them there the faith faculty... (and so on) ...the wisdom faculty... (and so on) ...the mind faculty arise? Yes. Or again, if for someone there the mind faculty will arise, will for them there the eye faculty arise? For those in the formless realms, for them there the mind faculty will arise, but for them there the eye faculty will not arise. For those in the five-constituent existence, for them there the mind faculty will arise, and the eye faculty will arise. (Rooted in the eye faculty) 300. (Ka) If for someone there the nose faculty will arise, will for them there the female faculty arise? Those men who, having shown a few existences with this same state, will attain final Nibbāna, for them there the nose faculty will arise, but for them there the female faculty will not arise. For others in the sense-sphere realms, for them there the nose faculty will arise, and the female faculty will arise. (Kha) Or again, if for someone there the female faculty will arise, will for them there the nose faculty arise? Yes. (Ka) If for someone there the nose faculty will arise, will for them there the male faculty arise? Those women who, having shown a few existences with this same state, will attain final Nibbāna... For those women, there the faculty of smell will arise, but for them there the faculty of masculinity will not arise. For others in the sense-sphere, there the faculty of smell will arise and the faculty of masculinity will arise. (Kha) Or for whom, or where, the faculty of masculinity will arise, for them there the faculty of smell will arise? Yes. (Ka) For whom, or where, the faculty of smell will arise, for them there the faculty of life will arise? Yes. (Kha) Or for whom, or where, the faculty of life will arise, for them there the faculty of smell will arise? For those in the form-sphere, for those in the formless-sphere, there the faculty of life will arise, but for them there the faculty of smell will not arise. For those in the sense-sphere, there the faculty of life will arise and the faculty of smell will arise. (Ka) For whom, or where, the faculty of smell will arise, for them there the faculty of joy will arise? For those with the faculty of smell who, having arisen with equanimity, will attain final Nibbāna, for them there the faculty of smell will arise, but for them there the faculty of joy will not arise. For others in the sense-sphere, there the faculty of smell will arise and the faculty of joy will arise. (Kha) Or for whom, or where, the faculty of joy will arise, for them there the faculty of smell will arise? For those in the form-sphere, there the faculty of joy will arise, but for them there the faculty of smell will not arise. For those in the sense-sphere, there the faculty of joy will arise and the faculty of smell will arise. (Ka) For whom, or where, the faculty of smell will arise, for them there the faculty of equanimity will arise? For those with the faculty of smell who, having arisen with joy, will attain final Nibbāna, for them there the faculty of smell will arise, but for them there the faculty of equanimity will not arise. For whom, where the faculty of smell will arise, will the faculty of faith arise there? ... the faculty of wisdom? ... the faculty of mind? Yes, it will. Or, for whom, where the faculty of mind will arise, will the faculty of smell arise there? For those in the fine-material sphere, for those in the immaterial sphere, for them the faculty of mind will arise there, but for them the faculty of smell will not arise there. For those in the sense-sphere, for them the faculty of mind will arise there, and the faculty of smell will arise there. (Rooted in the faculty of smell) 301. (A) For whom, where the female faculty will arise, will the male faculty arise there? For those females who, having shown a few existences in this same state, will attain final Nibbāna, for them the female faculty will arise there, but for them the male faculty will not arise there. For the other beings in the sense-sphere, for them the female faculty will arise there, and the male faculty will arise there. (B) Or, for whom, where the male faculty will arise, will the female faculty arise there? For those males who, having shown a few existences in this same state, will attain final Nibbāna, for them the male faculty will arise there, but for them the female faculty will not arise there. For the other beings in the sense-sphere, for them the male faculty will arise there, and the female faculty will arise there. (A) For whom, where the female faculty will arise, will the life faculty arise there? Yes, it will. (B) Or, for whom, where the life faculty If the life faculty arises there for him, will the female faculty arise there for him? For those in the form realm, for those in the formless realm, and those males who, having shown a few existences in this very state, will attain Nibbāna, for them, the life faculty will arise there, but for them, the female faculty will not arise there. For others, those in the sense realm, for them, the life faculty will arise there, and the female faculty will arise there. (A) For whom, where the female faculty arises, will the joy faculty arise there for them? Those females who, having shown a few existences in this very state, having arisen with equanimity, will attain Nibbāna, for them, the female faculty will arise there, but for them, the joy faculty will not arise there. For others, those in the sense realm, for them, the female faculty will arise there, and the joy faculty will arise there. (B) Or again, for whom, where the joy faculty arises, will the female faculty arise there for them? For those in the form realm, and those males who, having shown a few existences in this very state, having arisen with joy, will attain Nibbāna, for them, the joy faculty will arise there, but for them, the female faculty will not arise there. For others, those in the sense realm, for them, the joy faculty will arise there, and the female faculty will arise there. (A) For whom, where the female faculty arises, will the equanimity faculty arise there for them? Those females who, having shown a few existences in this very state, having arisen with joy, will attain Nibbāna, for them, the female faculty will arise there, but for them, the equanimity faculty will not arise there. For others, those in the sense realm, for them, the female faculty will arise there, and the equanimity faculty will arise there. (B) Or again, for whom, where the equanimity faculty arises, will the female faculty arise there for them? For those in the form realm, for those in the formless realm, and those m... Men, having manifested a few existences by this very state, having arisen with equanimity, will attain final Nibbāna; for them there the faculty of equanimity will arise, but for them there the female faculty will not arise. For others in the sense-sphere, for them there the faculty of equanimity will arise and the female faculty will arise. For whom, where the female faculty will arise, for them there will the faculty of faith... (etc.) ...the faculty of wisdom... (etc.) ...the mental faculty arise? Yes. Or for whom, where the mental faculty will arise, for them there will the female faculty arise? For those in the form-sphere, for those in the formless-sphere, and those men, having manifested a few existences by this very state, will attain final Nibbāna; for them there the mental faculty will arise, but for them there the female faculty will not arise. For others in the sense-sphere, for them there the mental faculty will arise and the female faculty will arise. (Rooted in the female faculty) 302. (A) For whom, where the male faculty will arise, for them there will the faculty of life arise? Yes. (B) Or for whom, where the faculty of life will arise, for them there will the male faculty arise? For those in the form-sphere, for those in the formless-sphere, and those women, having manifested a few existences by this very state, will attain final Nibbāna;
