Those men who, having shown a few existences in this very state, will attain final Nibbāna, for them the faculty of smell will arise, but for them the faculty of femininity will not arise. For others, for them both the faculty of smell will arise and the faculty of femininity will arise. (B) Or for whom the faculty of femininity will arise, for them the faculty of smell will arise? Yes. (A) For whom the faculty of smell will arise, for them the faculty of masculinity will arise? Those women who, having shown a few existences in this very state, will attain final Nibbāna, for them the faculty of smell will arise, but for them the faculty of masculinity will not arise. For others, for them both the faculty of smell will arise and the faculty of masculinity will arise. (B) Or for whom the faculty of masculinity will arise, for them the faculty of smell will arise? Yes. (A) For whom the faculty of smell will arise, for them the faculty of life will arise? Yes. (B) Or for whom the faculty of life will arise, for them the faculty of smell will arise? Those who, having arisen in the form realms or the formless realms, will attain final Nibbāna, for them the faculty of life will arise, And for them, the faculty of smell will not arise. For others, for them, the faculty of life will arise, and the faculty of smell will arise. (A) For whom the faculty of smell will arise, for him will the faculty of joy arise? Those who, possessing the faculty of smell, will be reborn with equanimity and attain final Nibbāna, for them the faculty of smell will arise, but for them the faculty of joy will not arise. Those who will be reborn in the form realm and attain final Nibbāna, for them the faculty of joy will arise, but for them the faculty of smell will not arise. Those who, possessing the faculty of smell, will be reborn with joy and attain final Nibbāna, for them the faculty of smell will arise, but for them the faculty of equanimity will not arise. For those males who, by this very existence, having shown a few existences, will attain final Nibbāna, for them the male faculty will arise, but for them the female faculty will not arise.
