Thus indeed, the venerable Elder Mātuluṅgaphala-dāyaka spoke these verses. The sixth Apadāna of Elder Mātuluṅgaphala-dāyaka. 7. The Apadāna of Elder Ajeliphala-dāyaka 74. A Fully Awakened One named Ajjuna, dwelt then in the Himalayas; Endowed with conduct, a sage skilled in concentration. 75. Taking a pot-full, of Ajeli Jīvajīvaka; Chatt Taking an ajelī fruit, I gave it to the Teacher. 76. In the ninety-fourth eon, when I gave that fruit; I know no bad destination, this is the fruit of giving that fruit. 77. My defilements are burnt away... I dwell without taints. 78. Indeed, my coming was welcome... the Buddha's teaching has been done. 79. The four analytical knowledges... the Buddha's teaching has been done. Thus indeed, the venerable Elder Ajeliphaladāyaka spoke these verses. The seventh Apadāna is that of the Elder Ajeliphaladāyaka. 8. The Apadāna of the Elder Amodaphaliya 80. To the Fully Awakened One, golden-hued, recipient of offerings, as he walked along the road, I gave an amoda fruit. 81. In the ninety-first eon, when I gave that fruit; I know no bad destination, this is the fruit of giving that fruit. 82. My defilements are burnt away... I dwell without taints. 83. Indeed, my coming was welcome... the Buddha's teaching has been done. 84. The four analytical knowledges... the Buddha's teaching has been done. Thus indeed, the venerable Elder Amodaphaliya spoke these verses. The eighth Apadāna is that of the Elder Amodaphaliya. 9. The Apadāna of the Elder Tālaphaladāyaka 85. The Blessed One named Sataraṃsī, self-existent, unconquered; Having risen from solitude, went forth for alms. 86. Seeing him, with fruit in hand, I approached the Bull of men; With a clear and joyful mind, I gave a palm fruit. 87. In the ninety-fourth eon, when I gave that fruit; I know no bad destination, this is the fruit of giving that fruit. 88. My defilements are burnt away... I dwell without taints. 89. Indeed, my coming was welcome... the Buddha's teaching has been done. 90. The four analytical knowledges... the Buddha's teaching has been done. Thus indeed, the venerable Elder Tālaphaladāyaka spoke these verses. The ninth Apadāna is that of the Elder Tālaphaladāyaka. 10. The Apadāna of the Elder Nāḷikeraphaladāyaka 91. In the city of Ban In Dhumati's time, I was a gardener then. I saw the stainless Buddha, going in the sky. 92. Having taken a coconut fruit, I gave it to the best of Buddhas. Standing in the sky, the greatly famous one accepted it. 93. Generating joy for me, bringing happiness in this very life; Having given the fruit to the Buddha, with a very serene mind. 94. I attained then joy, and abundant supreme happiness. A jewel indeed arises, for one reborn here and there. 95. Ninety-one aeons ago, the fruit I gave then; I do not know a bad destination, this is the result of that fruit-giving. 96. My divine eye is purified, I am skilled in concentration; I have attained the perfection of supernormal powers, this is the result of that fruit-giving. 97. My defilements are burnt... I dwell without taints. 98. Welcome indeed it was for me... the Buddha's teaching has been done. 99. The four analytical knowledges... the Buddha's teaching has been done. Thus indeed the venerable Elder, the Coconut-Fruit Giver, spoke these verses. The Tenth Apadāna of the Elder, the Coconut-Fruit Giver. The Fifty-first Chapter, Kaṇikāra. Its Summary: Kaṇikāra-ekapatta, and Kāsumārī, likewise Avaṭā; And Pāda, and Mātuluṅga, and Ajelīmoda. Tāla, likewise Nāḷikera, the verses counted here; There are one hundred verses, neither less nor more.
