I undertake the training rule of abstaining from fermented and distilled intoxicants which are a basis for heedlessness. 6. I undertake the training rule of abstaining from eating at the wrong time. 7. I undertake the training rule of abstaining from dancing, singing, instrumental music, and seeing unseemly shows. 8. I undertake the training rule of abstaining from wearing garlands, perfumes, and ointments, and from adorning and beautifying oneself. 9. I undertake the training rule of abstaining from high and luxurious beds. 10. I undertake the training rule of abstaining from accepting gold and silver. The Ten Precepts are concluded.
