These two, monks, are connections. Which two? Connection with material things, and connection with Dhamma. These, monks, are the two connections. Of these two connections, monks, the foremost is connection with Dhamma. These two, monks, are welcomes. Which two? Welcome with material things, and welcome with Dhamma. These, monks, are the two welcomes. Of these two welcomes, monks, the foremost is welcome with Dhamma. These two, monks, are searches. Which two? Search for material things, and search for Dhamma. These, monks, are the two searches. Of these two searches, monks, the foremost is search for Dhamma. These two, monks, are investigations. Which two? Investigation for material things, and investigation for Dhamma. These, monks, are the two investigations. Of these two investigations, monks, the foremost is investigation for Dhamma. These two, monks, are pursuits. Which two? Pursuit of material things, and pursuit of Dhamma. These, monks, are the two pursuits. Of these two pursuits, monks, the foremost is pursuit of Dhamma. These two, monks, are offerings. Which two? Offering of material things, and offering of Dhamma. These, monks, are the two offerings. Of these two offerings, monks, the foremost is offering of Dhamma. These two, monks, are hospitalities. Which two? Hospitality with material things, and hospitality with Dhamma. These, monks, are the two hospitalities. Of these two hospitalities, monks, the foremost is hospitality with Dhamma. These two, monks, are successes. Which two? Success with material things, and success with Dhamma. These, monks, are the two successes. Of these two successes, monks, the foremost is success with Dhamma. These two, monks, are growths. Which two? Growth in material things and growth in Dhamma. These, monks, are the two growths. Of these two growths, monks, the foremost is growth in Dhamma. These two, monks, are jewels. Which two? The jewel of material things and the jewel of Dhamma. These, monks, are the two jewels. Of these two jewels, monks, the foremost is the jewel of Dhamma. These two, monks, are accumulations. Which two? Accumulation of material things and accumulation of Dhamma. These, monks, are the two accumulations. Of these two accumulations, monks, the foremost is the accumulation of Dhamma. These two, monks, are abundances. Which two? Abundance of material things and abundance of Dhamma. These, monks, are the two abundances.
