Chapter on Not-Dhamma Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what is not Dhamma as not Dhamma, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans. And those monks, O bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma. First. Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what is Dhamma as Dhamma, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans. And those monks, O bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma. Second. Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what is not Vinaya as not Vinaya, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans. And those monks, O bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma. Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what is Vinaya as Vinaya, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans. And those monks, O bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma. Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what was not spoken, not uttered by the Tathāgata as not spoken, not uttered by the Tathāgata, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans. And those monks, O bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma. Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what was spoken, uttered by the Tathāgata as spoken, uttered by the Tathāgata, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans. And those monks, O bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma. Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what was not practiced by the Tathāgata as not practiced by the Tathāgata, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans. And those monks, O bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma. Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what was practiced by the Tathāgata as practiced by the Tathāgata, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans. And those monks, O bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma. Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what was not laid down by the Tathāgata as not laid down by the Tathāgata, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans. And those monks, O bhikkhus, generate much merit, and they establish this true Dhamma. Those monks, O bhikkhus, who declare what was laid down by the Tathāgata as laid down by the Tathāgata, those monks, O bhikkhus, practice for the welfare of many people, for the happiness of many people, for the good, welfare, and happiness of many people, of devas and humans.
