The unelaborate empowerment mandala of the Vima Nyingtik: the base is dark blue, surrounded by a fence of five-colored light. In the center are two crossed vases, both red, with green silk scarves around their necks, adorned with red lotuses and wooden ornaments. Both bases rest on various lotus seats, with the base of the upper one facing forward and the base of the lower one facing south. Between the two bases is a white bindu. Similarly, to the southwest is a yellow bindu, to the northwest a red bindu, and to the northeast a green bindu, each surrounded by five-colored light in this way, and all should be drawn without touching. Although there are different ways of drawing this unelaborate mandala, it is trustworthy because it is based on the writings of the Omniscient One. The profound method of drawing this mandala is also explained in the ritual.
