Fools! Even though they abide in the world, regarding that supreme state, they are not cautious in any decision. Gradually acting with characteristics, with existence and non-existence, with objects and non-objects, with accomplishment and progression, they engage in discrimination without distinction. Those foolish ones are empty; how can they be certain of being supreme? Like the last offspring of a wild beast, their nature is fear and dread. Just as the nature of all limitless phenomena abides, without fabrication, without inversion, it is decided in suchness itself. Just as the great Garuda soars in the sky, using the strength of its wings to traverse the expanse, even the limitless mountains, rocks, and rivers are contained beneath its soaring waves. The yogi who travels in the sky of dharmata, even the limitless scope of the vehicle's activity, in the true, unfabricated sense, is decided by the waves of the state. This is the certainty that cuts off the hesitation of hope and doubt; the cutting off of the state is certainly cherished by the view of the supreme itself. Friends, know that those are deliberating to completely cut off the earth. Having spoken thus, the inferior ones attained the state of decisive certainty, free from hope and doubt. From the great sutra that gathers the intention of all Buddhas, the chapter called "Completely Cutting Off Doubt" is the seventy-second. previous\tThe chapter called "Completely Cutting Off Doubt" is the seventy-second.\tnext
