The Lord of Secrets said: Lord of Lanka, the qualities and activities of the Buddhas, which appear from the blessings of secret mantras, should be understood to appear in this way. What is it? It is like this: In that which is non-conceptual, the nature of permanence, the blessings of realization arise from investigation. The inexhaustible treasure of jewels in the sky, the great blessings never cease. The blessings of the secret essence are such that, wherever it is, like non-conceptualization, all desired actions are accomplished, but there is no action in it. By the blessings of a single mantra, like transforming the tongue into a thousand, in an instant seeing the meaning of the secret, everything is transformed into the essence of the secret. By the blessings of a single lamp, like dispelling the darkness of an eon, in an instant realizing the meaning of the essence, it dispels the obscurations that remain for an eon. Like a wish-fulfilling jewel that dispels the fear of poverty, realizing the meaning of the essence dispels the fear of falling into cyclic existence. The jewel that blazes with the light of the sun and moon is not a million rains of the value of jewels, the ultimate merit of whiteness is not a million rains of the secret in an instant. Wherever, like pouring a single drop of lion's milk into an ocean of cow's milk of equal quantity, it is destroyed, in the ocean of karma, afflictions, and suffering, the appearance of the secret in an instant makes everything disappear. Like the fearlessness that a universal monarch relies on, in the certainty of the secret, one is not afraid of the enemy of wrong views. Even if a vajra deteriorates, it still suppresses the brilliance of jewels, and if the jewel is not lost, it eliminates the suffering of poverty. Even if the essence of the secret vajra deteriorates and changes, it still suppresses the Hearers and the Madhyamikas, and the certain appearance of the secret eliminates the poverty of the Dharma. All will flee. Even without the power of wisdom to understand the meaning of the essence, Merely generating Bodhicitta overwhelms the Middle Way. The perverse enemies are overwhelmed and terrified, And from their respective positions, they are tormented by pain. Even if a person is cut off from their limbs and weakened, they can survive, Just as there is no chance of survival if the heart is removed. Even if the Middle Way, like a limb, is weakened, it can survive, But without the secret like the heart, it is destroyed. Whoever holds the secret of the Vajra Essence, Is like riding a horse with a wooden cart, etc. Just as he has no other work to do, His horse seat is honored in the center of the victors. Even if one spends eons practicing the three doors of liberation of the Middle Way, The victors will not appreciate or honor him for that. Even with just a moment of understanding the meaning of the essence, The blessings and qualities cannot be fully described by the victors. All the merits of the white side, Are like the dust on a fingernail. Generating one in the Vajra Essence, Is like the great circle of the earth. All the merits of the white side, Are like a lamp in a dark room. Understanding one in the Vajra Essence, Is like the great fire of the final eon. The sky that appears in the Middle Way, Whose space is that sky? The sky of the Vajra Secret, Is like the vast sky of the great elements. The peace of the blessings that are made, Appears like an empty eon. The increase of all that is made, Appears like an abiding eon. The power of compassion that is made, Appears like a forming eon. The actions of manifestation that are made, Are like a destroying eon. The lords of Lanka, from the arrangement of that inexhaustible treasury of qualities, and from the blessings of the waves of activity, should know the manifestation. Having said this, the Bodhisattvas of inferior bodies, only the blessings of the supreme secret appear, it should be known. From the great sutra that gathers the intentions of all Buddhas, the thirty-fifth chapter, the chapter on the arrangement of the wheel of inexhaustible conduct and adornment.
