May the auspiciousness of the gods accomplish meaning, and may those who bring auspiciousness to all directions accomplish all your purposes! May everything quickly come together in harmony, like a rosary on the head. May there be glory in the right hand, and may glory also abide in the left hand, and may there be glory in all limbs. Merchants seeking wealth, traveling to the ten directions, may they obtain great wealth, may they be happy and joyful. For whatever need, when going to the east, may the stars that reside in that direction protect you! The Pleiades and Bharani, as well as Spica, Chitra, Antares, Mula, and Purva Ashadha, these are the eastern stars. These seven stars are renowned protectors of the world, shown to be in the eastern direction. May they always protect you! The king who is the lord of these stars, known as Dhritarashtra, is the lord of all Gandharvas, may he protect you together with the sun. He has many sons, who are wise and have the same name, all ninety-one sons, named Isvara, are very powerful. May they keep you free from illness and protect you with even greater auspiciousness! In the direction on the side of the east, there are eight young goddesses: Victory and Supreme Victory, Accomplishing Meaning and Invincible, Supreme Joy and Joyful Bliss, Joyful One and Increasing Joy.
