The Tantra Called "The Latter After the Latter of the Great Perfection, All-Good Illuminating Wisdom". In Sanskrit: Maha Santi Samanta Bhadra Jnana Prakata Shastra Tantra Pashcima ca Pashcima Nama. In Tibetan: The Tantra Called "The Latter After the Latter of the Great Perfection, All-Good Illuminating Wisdom". Homage to the Bhagavan, Glorious All-Good. Then the Bhagavan, Glorious All-Good, spoke to the assembly: Listen, Vajra Holders! If you wish to realize the clear, empty awareness, first grasp the mind itself, then set it on the path. Thus he spoke. Then Vajrasattva requested: O, O Bhagavan, Vajra Holder! If you wish to realize the clear, empty awareness, what is the order of grasping the mind? Having heard these words of request, the Vajra Holder spoke: The order of grasping the mind is as follows: Height, drawing, gentle wind, bindu, umbrella, wheel, letter, Prajnaparamita, teacher, competitive wind, space. Thus he spoke. The first chapter from the Latter After the Latter Tantra. Then, he spoke again: First, grasping at height, fix the gaze on a high place and grasp. Grasping at drawings, sit on a comfortable seat and grasp within the drawing. Grasping at gentle wind, grasp the wind comfortably above, below, or in between. Grasping at bindus, fix the gaze on the space between the eyebrows or the tip of the nose and grasp. Similarly, grasping at an umbrella, grasp the wheel of a large umbrella below. Grasping at a wheel, rotate it above the handle of a die, burn incense at the nose, listen to sounds in the ears, and grasp without distraction. Grasping at letters, grasp at the letters such as A in the four abodes of the mind. Grasping at Prajnaparamita, consecrate the secret space and bestow the senses, grasping at two when one bindu disappears. Grasping at the teacher, contemplate him at the crown of the head and grasp. Grasping at the wind in the chest, grasp by making awareness the object of competition. Grasping at space, fix the gaze on a cubit's length and grasp. Thus he spoke. The chapter on grasping the mind from the Latter After the Latter Tantra, the second chapter. Then, he spoke again.
